How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually, from your pictures. The main factors are:
- Unusual colours or finishes
- How much damage there is
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- The type of damage
We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Roach Bridge. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Send pictures for a quote
It only takes a minute to photograph the damage. Please include:
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- A wider photo showing the entire suite
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
If you are in Roach Bridge and want a price, pictures are the quickest way: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. You will get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.
Coloured bath resurfacing in Roach Bridge without replacing anything
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We regularly repair whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays, and people most frequently call us about a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.
Big or small, you get the same one-year guarantee. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Roach Bridge questions
Is there any odour?
A little, depending on the job. Open windows and an extractor fan help.
Which areas do you work in?
The whole UK, including all of Lancashire. Send your postcode with your photos and we will offer you dates.
Can a coloured bath be made white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
Is it safe with children and pets around?
Just keep them out of the work area. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.
Does someone need to be in?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Most of the time. Let us know what was used before and we will plan for it.
What do you need from me?
A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.
What happens if you find more damage?
We’ll show you and explain before doing anything extra. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.

What we cannot put right
Before you book, it’s worth knowing the limits too:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think.
What we work on
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured shower trays
Should you replace it?
Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. You’ll see the full price before booking.
Why book with us

DIY kit or professional repair?
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is generally cheaper.
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
How it works
Arrival times are agreed in advance. Once we are there, the work takes a day or two, depending on how many items. We leave the room clean and you’ll know when it can be used.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.
Getting ready for the visit
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Let us know which floor the room is on
How to get a price

What we’re called out for in Roach Bridge
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
