Coloured bath resurfacing for Silverdale homes

Coloured bath resurfacing in Silverdale, done in place

Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. We are often asked to fix a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites.

Big or small, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee in Silverdale and across Lancashire. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Questions from Silverdale

What areas do you cover?

We cover the entire UK, including Silverdale and the rest of Lancashire. Just include your postcode and we’ll confirm dates.

Can you do the toilet too?

Talk to us first. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll tell you what will last.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Include photos of each item.

What do you need from me?

A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.

I rent my home. Can I book you?

We are happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just make sure the landlord agrees.

Is there a guarantee?

Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

Can you turn my avocado bath white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

Are there extra charges for Silverdale?

We don’t add a call-out fee. Your fixed price includes everything.

When we would advise against a repair

A repair isn’t right for every job, including:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

What we work on

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites

How it works

On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Let us in and show us the room, and we will get on with it. The job generally runs to one to two days for a full suite, tidy-up included.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.

Before we arrive

  • Have a window or extractor fan available
  • Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
  • Let us know if it has been repaired before

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. There is no charge for travel to Silverdale. The price comes down to:

  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • How many areas need work
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • The colour and finish to match

Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Silverdale. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Send photos for a quote

It only takes a minute to photograph the damage. Try to send:

  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size

Pricing is simple: take a close-up of the damage and a photo from further back, send them over with your postcode, and you will get a fixed quote back. There’s no charge for the quote and you’re under no obligation.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is normally cheaper.

Repairing versus replacing in Silverdale

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send pictures and we will give you the exact figure.

Why book with us

  • Rooms protected and left tidy
  • No need to remove anything
  • We’ll tell you if it’s not worth repairing
  • One visit for most repairs

See our prices page or guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting so nothing needs replacing. We are CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.

Signs you need coloured bath resurfacing in Silverdale

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s typically the colour that dates them, not the condition.

Send us a photo if you notice any of these:

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
