Coloured bath resurfacing for South Wonston homes

Repair or replace in South Wonston?

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before you book.

What you get with us

  • Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
  • No need to remove anything
  • Free fixed quotes from pictures
  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor

About our coloured bath resurfacing in South Wonston

A full suite is generally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. We are often asked to fix selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, on coloured basins, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in South Wonston and everywhere else. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

DIY kit or professional repair?

For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

How the visit works

From the moment we arrive, we keep the work contained to the one room. We mask off everything nearby, the work takes one to two days for a full suite, and we finish with a tidy-up and a look at the finished work together.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Each item is left to cure, usually ready the day after.

Before we arrive

  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Open a window if you can

What a repair cannot fix

To be straight with you, there are a few things a repair will not fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.

Surfaces we repair

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in South Wonston?

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.

Typical reasons for a call-out include:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour

10 questions to ask before booking

Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in South Wonston

Do I have to be there?

Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. You do not need to watch us work.

Will you leave a mess?

Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and we clean up when we have finished.

What happens next?

You’ll get a fixed quote back, plus dates. You are under no obligation.

Can you turn my avocado bath white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?

In most cases. The old repair comes out first, so mention it when you send pictures.

Is my repair covered?

Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send pictures of everything you’d like done.

Prices and what affects them

Resurfacing from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including South Wonston. What changes the price is:

  • How much damage there is
  • What the surface is made of
  • Access to the area
  • What kind of damage it is

Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access.

How to get a fixed quote

Good pictures mean an accurate price. Here’s what we find most useful:

  • Where you are, by postcode
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • The material, if you know it
  • A wider photo showing the entire suite

There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.
