Will the price change on the day?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. You decide whether to go ahead.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work. Everywhere else in the home is fine.
Does someone need to be in?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Can you repair something that is been repaired before?
Yes, we frequently do. Removing the old work can add time, and that’s in the quote.
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Of course, and it generally saves money. Send pictures of everything together and you’ll get one combined price.
Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Stocksfield
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is usually done in one to two days. Typical jobs include a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and faded or patchy colour, across coloured basins, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites.
Whatever the size of the job, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee in Stocksfield and across Northumberland. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

What we do, step by step
Once we are through the door, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. We mask off everything nearby, the job takes one to two days for a full suite, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.
Before we arrive
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
- Have a window or extractor fan available

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. We give every job a fixed quote from pictures. This is what makes a difference:
- Access to the area
- The material
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- The colour and finish to match
Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Stocksfield. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Getting a price from pictures
Two or three clear photos are generally enough. Try to include:
- A wider photo showing the entire suite
- What it’s made of, if you know
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
Upload photos of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, and tell us you’re in Stocksfield, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.
What we cannot put right
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before you book.
Surfaces we repair
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins

Common problems we fix in Stocksfield
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.
People usually call us when they notice something like this:
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
What your quote should include
- Whether they match the colour on site
- What happens if they find more damage
- What protection goes down before work starts
- Whether a trained technician does the job
Should you replace it?
Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Instead of hourly rates, we price the whole job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.
What you get with us
- Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- Honest advice, even when it means no job
- One-year guarantee on every repair
- No extra charge for your area
Read our prices page or guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.
Can I fix it myself?
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
About our accreditations · Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee.
