Coloured bath resurfacing in Swan Street without replacing anything

A full suite is generally done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. If you are dealing with faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, we can generally put it right, on coloured basins, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays alike.

A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re covered after the visit. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What we cannot put right

A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer before you book.

What we work on

  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

Landlords, agents and businesses in Swan Street

Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before booking. We take into account:

  • What kind of damage it is
  • How many items we do on one visit
  • What the surface is made of
  • How easy the damage is to reach

The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

Send pictures for a quote

A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. Try to include:

  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit
  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
  • One picture of the entire suite
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection

You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.

Should you replace it?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before booking.

What you get with us

  • Usually one visit, start to finish
  • CHAS and Constructionline accredited
  • Fixed prices from your photos
  • One price list for the whole UK

How the visit works

Visits start with a quick look at the job together, so you know exactly what we are doing. Next, we cover and mask everything nearby and we start. It normally takes one to two days for a full suite.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. We leave everything to cure, generally until the following day.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area

Advice

FAQs for Swan Street

Can you do the toilet too?

Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll tell you what will last.

Do you charge for travel?

Travel is included in the price, with the same prices everywhere we work.

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Most of the time. Let us know what was used before and we will plan for it.

What does coloured bath resurfacing cost?

Prices start from £350. We give a fixed price based on pictures of the damage. Send a close-up and a picture of the whole item with your CO6 postcode.

Can you turn my avocado bath white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

What areas do you cover?

Across the UK, and that includes Swan Street. Our prices are the same everywhere.

Can pets and children be at home?

We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work. The rest of the house is unaffected.

Can you price it without visiting?

In nearly every case. If photos don’t show enough, we will ask for another angle.

DIY kit or professional repair?

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is generally the cheaper route.

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.

Common problems we fix in Swan Street

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

Customers normally contact us about:

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
