For landlords and businesses

We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.

We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before booking. We look at:

  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • The colour and finish to match
  • The type of damage

We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Threehammer Common. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Getting a price from pictures

A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. It helps if you send:

  • A picture taken from further back
  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare

If you’re in Threehammer Common and want a price, photos are the quickest way: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. You will get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.

Common questions in Threehammer Common

Can you turn my avocado bath white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

How soon can you come?

Your quote comes with available dates. Tell us if you need it done quickly.

Is it messy?

No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.

Can you price it without visiting?

Normally, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed price.

Do you work in Threehammer Common?

Yes. We cover the entire UK and come to Threehammer Common and the rest of Norfolk. Send photos and we will quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

Can I add another job to the visit?

Yes, and it’s frequently cheaper. Send pictures of everything together and you’ll get one combined price.

Is a repair better than a new one?

Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it isn’t worth repairing, we’ll tell you.

Can you repair something that is been repaired before?

Normally, yes. The old repair comes out first, so mention it when you send photos.

What we can’t put right

We would rather lose a job than do one that will not last, so here’s what a repair can’t put right:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

10 questions to ask before booking

Repair or replace: which is better?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. We do not add extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

What happens on the day

A typical visit goes like this: we arrive on time, protect everything around the work area, do the job and tidy away. Plan for one to two days for a full suite. Before leaving, we tell you how long to leave it and what to avoid for the first few days.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. We leave everything to cure, normally until the next day.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
  • Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
  • Make sure the area is dry

Ask for a price

Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them over with your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price. Quotes are free and no obligation.

DIY kit or professional repair?

The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, then guarantee it for a year.

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
