Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Waldron

How much does coloured bath resurfacing cost in Waldron?

Prices start from £350. Every job gets a fixed quote based on photos of the damage. Send a close-up and a photo of the whole item and your postcode.

Can tenants book a repair?

Of course. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.

Can you repair several things at once?

Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send photos of everything you’d like done.

Do you charge for travel?

We do not add a call-out fee. The fixed price covers the visit and the work.

Which areas do you work in?

We cover the whole UK, including Waldron and the rest of East Sussex. Send your postcode with your photos and we will offer you dates.

Can you quote from photos?

Nearly always. We only ask to see it in person if the pictures can’t show what we need.

Can you do the toilet too?

Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll tell you what will last.

How quickly can you book me in?

Your quote comes with available dates. Tell us if you need it done quickly.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Waldron, done in place

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Common call-outs are for selling or letting a home with an old suite and faded or patchy colour, across coloured shower trays, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

All our work comes with our one-year guarantee, wherever you are in East Sussex. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Prices and what affects them

Prices start from £350. Each job gets its own fixed price. This is what makes a difference:

  • The type of damage
  • Doing more than one item at once
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • The size and number of damaged areas

A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Getting a price from photos

We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what we need:

  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • The material, if you know it
  • Where you are, by postcode

Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us photos through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire suite, we can price the job without visiting.

Can I fix it myself?

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is usually cheaper.

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

When to call us in Waldron

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

If you can see any of these, send us a photo:

  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

Before you book anyone

  • How long it needs to cure
  • If travel is included in the price
  • Who turns up on the day
  • How the room is protected while they work

Work for landlords and builders

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, putting right damage done during fitting. We are CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, so there’s no need to replace a damaged item at the last minute. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking, with no extras added later.

What you get with us

  • Colour mixed on the day to match
  • Every repair guaranteed for a year
  • No extra charge for your area
  • Straight answers about what a repair can do

Read our pricing or guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.

What we can’t put right

Before you book, it’s worth knowing the limits too:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.

Materials we repair

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

The process

There’s not much you need to do on the day. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. The job generally runs to a day or two, depending on how many items.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Each item is left to cure, usually ready the day after.

How to prepare

  • Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
