Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Watford
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Typical jobs include faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, in coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins.
Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:
- How hard the colour is to match
- The type of damage
- How many areas need work
- Access to the area
Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it.
How to get a fixed price
Photographing the damage takes a minute, and it saves a visit. Try to send:
- A wider photo showing the entire suite
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- The material, if you know it
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
To get a price, send a couple of photos using our quote form or call us. We’ll tell you honestly if a repair is the right fix.

Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Watford questions
Is my repair covered?
Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.
Can pets and children be at home?
Please keep children and pets out of the room during the visit and until it has cured. The rest of the house is unaffected.
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Of course, and it normally saves money. Send pictures of everything together and you’ll get one combined price.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
In most cases. The old repair comes out first.
What do you need from me?
Use the quote form or ring 0345 017 0787, and we will do the rest.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.
Will the price change on the day?
If we find something the photos didn’t show, we explain it first. You decide whether to go ahead.
Do you work in Watford?
Yes. We cover the whole UK and come to Watford. Send us photos for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
When to call us in Watford
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is typically the colour, not the bath.
Typical reasons for a call-out include:
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
What to look for in a quote
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
- Who will actually do the work
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
- What happens if the damage is worse than the photos show
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
The process
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive on time, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and clear up. Plan for one to two days for a full suite. Before we go, we’ll explain how long to leave it and how to care for it.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the day after.
Preparing for the visit
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Have a window or extractor fan available
How to get a price
Email us a picture of the damage and one of the whole item, with your NN6 postcode, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.
