What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually, from your photos. The main factors are:

  • How many items we do on one visit
  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first

Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is normally a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.

Getting a price from photos

Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:

  • Any details about the material
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • One picture of the entire suite
  • Natural light rather than flash

Upload a picture of the damage and one of the entire item, and tell us you are in Welton Hill, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Welton Hill without replacing anything

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. If you are dealing with a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour, we can help, on coloured shower trays, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths alike.

All our work comes with a one-year guarantee. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Repair or replace in Welton Hill?

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. We do not add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Your quote comes with available dates. Tell us if you need it done quickly.

What areas do you cover?

The whole UK, including all of Lincolnshire. Just include your postcode and we will offer you dates.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Landlords are often glad to have it sorted.

Are there extra charges for Welton Hill?

There is no separate call-out charge. The fixed quote covers the visit and the work.

Do you come to Welton Hill?

Will the price change on the day?

It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. The price only changes if you agree.

We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work and until it has cured. Everywhere else in the home is fine.

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Generally, yes. Let us know what was used before and we’ll plan for it.

When a repair isn’t the answer

In fairness, some problems need a different fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before booking.

What we work on

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

How the visit works

Expect a friendly, tidy visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, protect the area, and get on with the job, which typically takes a day or two, depending on how many items. If we find something your pictures didn’t show, we will explain it before carrying on.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.

Preparing for the visit

  • Keep a parking space free if you can
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings

Advice

Should I try a DIY kit first?

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

For landlords and businesses

We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Welton Hill as well as householders. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, pictures and access details and we’ll arrange it.
