Coloured bath resurfacing near Wernbwll

Coloured bath resurfacing in Wernbwll, done in place

A full suite is normally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. We’re often asked to fix faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, on coloured basins, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

We guarantee the work for a year. If something isn’t right in that time, we come back and put it right. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Repair or replace in Wernbwll?

Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before you book, with nothing added on the day.

Why book with us

  • A year’s guarantee on all work
  • Work done at your home or business
  • Fixed prices from your pictures
  • No extra charge for your area

Read our full price list and resurfacing vs replacement cost guide.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we look at:

  • How hard the colour is to match
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • What kind of damage it is
  • How easy the damage is to reach

Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Wernbwll. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

How to get a fixed price

We price nearly every job from photos. This is what to send:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Your postcode, so we can check dates
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • A wider photo showing the entire suite

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, include your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

For landlords and businesses

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We are CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

FAQs for Wernbwll

Can I add another job to the visit?

Yes. Doing several items on one visit generally costs less than separate visits. Send pictures of everything you’d like done.

What happens next?

You get a fixed quote and available dates. If anything’s unclear, we’ll ask for another photo.

Are you a vetted contractor?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

Is repairing better than replacing?

Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We will be honest if it’s not worth it.

Do you charge for travel?

We do not add a call-out fee. Your fixed price includes everything.

Do you cover Wernbwll?

Yes, we do. We send a technician to Wernbwll for every job, and the price is the same as everywhere else.

Is it safe with children and pets around?

Just keep them out of the work area. We’ll tell you when the room can be used again.

Can I fix it myself?

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

Common problems we fix in Wernbwll

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.

These are the problems we are asked about most:

  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

What your quote should include

  • What the guarantee covers, and for how long
  • How your room will be protected
  • What happens if they find more damage
  • How long it needs to cure

Choosing a repair company

When a repair isn’t the answer

It helps to know what we cannot do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.

Surfaces we repair

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins

What happens on the day

It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We confirm the time with you beforehand, protect the area, then carry out the work, which normally takes one to two days for a full suite. If we find something your pictures didn’t show, we’ll explain it before carrying on.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.

How to prepare

  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
