Coloured bath resurfacing in West Street

Work for landlords and builders

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Suffolk and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in West Street

A full suite is generally done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. If you’re dealing with a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and faded or patchy colour, we can help, on avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured basins and coloured shower trays alike.

All our work comes with a one-year guarantee. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What we can’t put right

A repair isn’t right for every job, for example:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Surfaces we repair

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays

West Street questions

Do you charge for travel?

Travel is included in the price, and we charge the same wherever you are.

Are you accredited?

We’re accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.

Can you repair several things at once?

Yes, and it’s often cheaper. Just add the extra items to your photos and we’ll quote them together.

What areas do you cover?

We cover the entire UK, including West Street and the rest of Suffolk. Just include your postcode and we’ll confirm dates.

Is my repair covered?

Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

Will it make a mess?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.

Do you cover West Street?

Yes. We cover the whole UK and travel to West Street. Send us photos for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

What happens if you find more damage?

If we find something the pictures didn’t show, we explain it first. The price only changes if you agree.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. You’ll know the full cost before booking. We look at:

  • How hard the colour is to match
  • How much damage there is
  • The material
  • How many items we do on one visit

We do not add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Quotes from your photos

Most quotes are done from photos alone. To make it quick:

  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
  • A wider photo showing the whole suite
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare

Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire suite, we can price the job without visiting.

How the visit works

Once we are through the door, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. Surfaces nearby are masked off, the job takes one to two days for a full suite, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Each item is left to cure, typically ready the day after.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Clear the area around the damage
  • Let us know about parking or access
  • Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat

Ask for a price

The quickest way to a price is to send two or three pictures through our quote form or call us. We’ll say immediately whether it can be repaired.

Should you replace it?

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.

Signs you need coloured bath resurfacing in West Street

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.

Customers typically contact us about:

  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

Before booking anyone

  • How the colour is matched
  • Whether the price covers travel
  • Who turns up on the day
  • When it can be used again
