Coloured bath resurfacing near Woodhead

Coloured bath resurfacing in Woodhead without replacing anything

Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and faded or patchy colour, in whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays.

We guarantee the work for a year. If something isn’t right in that time, we come back and put it right. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

For landlords and businesses

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access.

Letting agents often send us photos straight from the inventory. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.

Repairing versus replacing in Woodhead

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before you book, with nothing added on the day.

Why us?

  • Colour-matched on site
  • Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
  • One visit for most repairs
  • We leave the room as we found it

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. You won’t pay by the hour. The price depends on:

  • The colour and finish to match
  • What the surface is made of
  • How many items we do on one visit
  • How much damage there is

No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Quotes from your photos

Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To help us price it:

  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • Details of any past repairs

Upload a photo of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, and tell us you’re in Woodhead, and we will reply with a fixed quote.

When we’d advise against a repair

In fairness, there are a few things a repair will not fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

Materials we work on in Woodhead

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays

Signs you need coloured bath resurfacing in Woodhead

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.

Send us a photo if you notice any of these:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

Questions to ask before booking

  • What aftercare is recommended
  • How long the guarantee is and what it covers
  • How the room is protected while they work
  • Whether the colour is mixed to match

How to compare quotes

Woodhead questions

How do I get a price for coloured bath resurfacing in Woodhead?

Prices start from £350. The exact price depends on the damage, so we quote from photos. You’ll get a fixed figure before you book.

Can I add another job to the visit?

Yes. Doing several items on one visit normally costs less than separate visits. Send photos of everything you’d like done.

Do you cover the whole of South Lanarkshire?

We cover the whole UK, including Woodhead and the rest of South Lanarkshire. Just include your postcode and we will offer you dates.

I rent my home. Can I book you?

Yes. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.

Can you repair something that is been repaired before?

Usually, yes. The old repair comes out first.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Usually, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids removal and making good. We will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

Are there extra charges for Woodhead?

No. Our quotes include travel, with the same prices everywhere we work.

Can you do the toilet too?

Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll tell you what will last.

What we do, step by step

We agree an arrival time beforehand. On site, it takes a day or two, depending on how many items for most jobs. The room is left tidy and you’ll know when it can be used.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Preparing for the visit

  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area

Can I fix it myself?

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair won’t last.

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
