Work for landlords and builders
Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs in East Dunbartonshire and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Woodilee Village as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it typically costs far less than a refit.
Coloured bath resurfacing in Woodilee Village without replacing anything
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Our repair technicians work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays, and common reasons people contact us are a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.
A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

The process
We work cleanly and quietly, so you can carry on at home. Protection goes down first, then the job itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items. Before we leave, we explain the curing time and the aftercare.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- We leave everything to cure, generally until the next day.
How to prepare
- Ensure the area is dry
- Clear the area around the damage
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
Ask for a price
No survey visit is needed: we price from photos. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.
Advice
When a repair is not the answer
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think before booking.
What we work on
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured shower trays
- Whole bathroom suites
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Woodilee Village. The price reflects:
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- How hard the colour is to match
- Doing more than one item at once
- What the surface is made of
A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
How to get a fixed quote
A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. It helps if you send:
- Natural light rather than flash
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- Something in shot to show the size
There is no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.
When to call us in Woodilee Village
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is typically the colour, not the bath.
You may need us if you’ve spotted any of these:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour
Before you book anyone
- Whether the price covers travel
- A fixed price, and whether VAT is included
- How long the guarantee is and what it covers
- Whether they match the colour on site

Common questions in Woodilee Village
Can pets and children be at home?
Please keep children and pets out of the room during the visit and until it has cured. The rest of the house is unaffected.
Do I have to be there?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.
Are you a vetted contractor?
We are accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.
What happens after I send pictures?
You get a fixed price and available dates. If we need another angle, we’ll ask.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as householders.
Is a repair better than a new one?
Typically, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids removal and making good. We will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
I rent my home. Can I book you?
We’re happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just ensure the landlord agrees.
Can a coloured bath be made white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed price from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.
Why us?
- No extra charge for your area
- CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
- Free fixed quotes from pictures
- Dust sheets down, tidy finish

Can I fix it myself?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is generally the cheaper route.
