Coloured bath resurfacing for Wray homes

Should I try a DIY kit first?

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it does not stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is normally cheaper.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Wray without replacing anything

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is normally done in one to two days. Whether it’s a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour, we can help.

Every repair is covered by a one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Work for landlords and builders

We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send photos, the address and how to get access and we will handle the rest.

Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.

Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Wray

What if the damage is worse than the photos show?

We’ll show you and explain before doing anything extra. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.

Can tenants book a repair?

Yes. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.

What about the toilet?

Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.

What do you need from me?

A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.

When can you do it?

Your quote comes with available dates. Tell us if you need it done quickly.

Is it messy?

Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Yes, regularly. Removing the old work can add time, and that is in the quote.

Do you work for landlords and businesses?

Yes. We carry out repairs for householders, landlords, letting agents, builders and businesses across Lancashire.

When a repair is not the answer

A repair isn’t right for every job, for example:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.

What we work on

  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

What affects the price in Wray

Prices start from £350. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price depends on:

  • How many areas need work
  • What the surface is made of
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it

Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is normally a fraction of the price, because there’s no removal, plumbing or making good. The quote lists exactly what you’re paying for.

Getting a price from pictures

Good pictures mean an accurate price. Here’s what helps:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • Your postcode, so we can check dates
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare

There’s no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from pictures: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.

Why repair rather than replace?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Why us?

  • Most jobs done in one visit
  • Colour mixed on the day to match
  • Same prices wherever you are
  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited

See our pricing or guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.

How the visit works

Expect a friendly, tidy visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, cover and mask the work area, and get on with the job, which normally takes a day or two, depending on how many items. If anything looks different from your pictures, we’ll talk to you before going ahead.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Each item is left to cure, generally ready the following day.

Preparing for the visit

  • Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
  • Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
  • Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat

Ask for a price

Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them to us with your postcode, and you will get a fixed quote back. There is no charge for the quote and no obligation.
