Wood & laminate floor repair in Dalry, North Ayrshire
Problem with your floor in Dalry? We put it right where it is, mix the colour on the day and guarantee the work for a year.
- Repairs from £95
- Gouges from moving appliances
- Dents from dropped items

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £95. You’ll know the full cost before booking. We take into account:
- What the surface is made of
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- How hard the colour is to match
- Whether we combine several jobs
No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Send pictures for a quote
A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. Try to include:
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
For a price in Dalry, the easiest route is photos: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.
Wood floor repair in Dalry without replacing anything
Boards are repaired where they lie, matched to the colour and grain. Water-swollen laminate needs replacing, and we will be honest about that. We are often asked to fix burns and scratches from furniture and pets, in laminate flooring, engineered wood and wood-effect vinyl (ask us).
All our work is covered by our one-year guarantee, wherever you are in North Ayrshire. Use felt pads under furniture and wipe spills right away.

Work for landlords and builders
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in North Ayrshire and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.
We’re used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send photos, the address and how to get access and we’ll arrange it.
Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a damaged board can mean lifting the floor back to it, sourcing a matching board and relaying. Repairing it works with the boards in place. Our wood floor repair starts from £95. Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.
Why book with us
- No need to remove anything
- No extra charge for your area
- A fixed quote before booking
- A year’s guarantee on all work
Read our pricing.
Honest limits
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- Laminate swollen along the joints by water
- Boards that have lifted or warped
- Underfloor damage
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think.
What we work on
- Solid wood
- Wood-effect vinyl (ask us)
- Laminate flooring
- Engineered wood
DIY kit or professional repair?
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair won’t last.

Your questions about wood floor repair in Dalry
Do the materials smell?
It depends on the job, but often a little. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum, and it soon fades.
What happens after I send pictures?
You’ll get a fixed quote back. There is no obligation to book.
Do I have to be there?
We need someone to let us in. After that, you can carry on with your day.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Typically, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.
When can you do it?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. We will offer you dates when we send your quote.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as householders in Dalry.
Do you cover the whole of North Ayrshire?
Across the UK, so Dalry is covered. Prices do not change with location.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit generally costs less than separate visits. Include photos of each item.
What we do, step by step
The work is clean and fairly quiet, so you can carry on at home. We protect the area first, then the job itself takes a morning or an afternoon. At the end we talk you through the curing time and the aftercare.
- We start by cleaning the damage.
- We fill dents, chips and gouges.
- We sand the repair flush with the board.
- We recreate the colour and grain by hand.
- We finish the repair to match the sheen of the floor.
Getting ready for the visit
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
Ask for a price
You don’t need a survey visit. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
