Why repair rather than replace?

Swapping a damaged board often means lifting boards to reach it, sourcing a matching board and relaying. Repairing it works with the boards in place. Prices start from £95. The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

Why book with us

  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
  • Colour mixed on the day to match
  • One visit for most repairs
  • A fixed quote before booking

Can I fix it myself?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.

For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.

What we do, step by step

On the day itself, there is little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. The job generally runs to a few hours, including clearing up.

  1. We start by cleaning the damage.
  2. Next we fill the dents and chips.
  3. The repair is levelled to the board.
  4. The colour and grain are recreated by hand.
  5. We finish the repair to match the sheen of the floor.

Before we arrive

  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Let us know if it has been repaired before
  • Point us to the nearest place to park

How to get a price

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire floor, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.
