Non-Slip Bath Coating in Trelewis
Clear non-slip coatings for baths and shower trays at your home in Trelewis, with a one-year guarantee on every repair.
- Worn-out textured areas
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
Non-slip bath coating in Trelewis, done in place
The coating is clear and textured, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand. It suits homes with older or less mobile people, holiday lets and families. Common call-outs are for bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten and resurfaced baths that are now too smooth, across enamelled baths, shower trays and resurfaced baths.
A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re not left on your own once we have gone. Clean with a soft brush and a mild cleaner. Avoid scourers on the coating.

Do you need non-slip bath coating in Trelewis?
Baths and trays are made smooth so they’re easy to clean, but wet, soapy surfaces are slippery. Textured areas on older baths wear smooth too.
The things customers generally mention when they call are:
- Worn-out textured areas
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
- Safety for older or less mobile people
- Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth
What to look for in a quote
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
- What happens if they find more damage
- If travel is included in the price
- What prep work is covered
How the visit works
On the day itself, there is little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will get on with it. Most visits take a morning or an afternoon, including clearing up.
- We start by degreasing the area where you stand.
- The area to be treated is masked out.
- The clear textured coating is applied.
- We lift the masking for a clean edge.
- The coating is left to cure before use, usually overnight.
Before we arrive
- Ensure the area is dry
- Ensure the room can be ventilated
- Let us know which floor the room is on

Advice
Your questions about non-slip bath coating in Trelewis
Do you hold any accreditations?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
Will a non-slip coating change how my bath looks?
Only slightly: the treated area looks slightly matt.
What areas do you cover?
We work UK-wide, so Trelewis is covered. Prices do not change with location.
Do you come to Trelewis?
Yes. We cover the entire UK and come to Trelewis. Send pictures and we will quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Do you charge for travel?
We don’t add a call-out fee. The fixed quote covers the visit and the work.
What do you need from me?
Send pictures through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787.
How do I clean it?
Yes. A soft brush and mild cleaner is all it needs.
Can you price it without visiting?
In nearly every case. We only ask to see it in person if the pictures can’t show what we need.
What we can’t put right
In fairness, some problems need a different fix:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think before you book.
Surfaces we repair
- Resurfaced baths
- Wet room floors (ask us)
- Acrylic baths
- Shower trays
- Enamelled baths
What non-slip bath coating costs
We charge the same across the UK, including Trelewis. What changes the price is:
- How much damage there is
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- The material and finish
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
How to get a fixed quote
A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. Try to include:
- A photo taken from further back
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- Any details about the material
- One sharp close-up of the damage
We price from pictures so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and you will get a fixed figure back.
Should you replace it?
The alternatives are replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or a bath mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating treats your existing bath or tray. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.
What you get with us

DIY kit or professional repair?
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is typically cheaper.
