Non-slip bath coating in Wallasey Village

Non-slip bath coating in Wallasey Village, done in place

It’s popular with older people, families and holiday lets. The coating is clear and textured, so the bath looks much the same. We regularly repair resurfaced baths, acrylic baths and shower trays, and people most often call us about worn-out textured areas and resurfaced baths that are now too smooth.

The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there’s a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Avoid scourers on the coating.

Landlord and trade work in Wallasey Village

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit.

Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.

Wallasey Village: your questions answered

Can you repair several things at once?

Of course, and it normally saves money. Just add the extra items to your pictures and you will get one combined price.

Is a repair better than a new one?

Generally, when the rest is in good condition. A repair avoids removal and making good. If replacing would be better, we will say so.

How do I clean it?

Yes. Use a soft brush and a mild cleaner.

Do you cover the whole of Wirral?

We cover the entire UK, including Wallasey Village and the rest of Wirral. Send your postcode with your pictures and we will confirm dates.

Will I see the coating?

Very little: it shows as a matt area where you stand.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Landlords are often glad to have it sorted before the end of a tenancy.

Is it safe with children and pets around?

We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work and until it has cured. Everywhere else in the home is fine.

What do you need from me?

Some pictures, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, we only need access to the room.

What affects the price in Wallasey Village

There is no charge for travel to Wallasey Village. The price comes down to:

  • The material
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • How hard the colour is to match

We charge the same wherever you are, so there is no premium for Wallasey Village. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Getting a price from pictures

You can generally get a fixed price without us visiting. To make it quick:

  • Something in shot to show the size
  • One picture of the entire bath or shower tray
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Natural light rather than flash

We price from pictures so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.

Honest limits

Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:

  • Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
  • Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
  • Outdoor surfaces

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer before you book.

What we work on

  • Wet room floors (ask us)
  • Resurfaced baths
  • Acrylic baths
  • Shower trays
  • Enamelled baths

The process

We agree an arrival time beforehand, so you know when to expect us. On site, it takes a few hours. We leave the room clean.

  1. First the standing area is cleaned and degreased.
  2. The area to be treated is masked out.
  3. We apply the clear textured coating.
  4. The masking comes off to leave a neat edge.
  5. Once it has cured, normally overnight, it’s ready.

Before we arrive

  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Keep a parking space free if you can

Advice

DIY kit or professional repair?

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is typically the cheaper route.

The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.

Why repair rather than replace?

The alternatives are a new textured bath or tray, or relying on a mat that needs lifting and cleaning. A coating treats your existing bath or tray. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before booking, with nothing added on the day.
