Our bath repair service in ME4
We see every kind of bath damage: chips from dropped bottles, rust round the plughole, cracks in acrylic and holes from falling tools. All of it is repaired where the bath stands with a one-year guarantee. Common call-outs are for rusty patches near the plughole and impact holes in acrylic, in whirlpool & spa baths, roll-top & freestanding and pressed steel enamel.
On the day, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. The job usually takes a few hours, depending on the damage. We tidy up before we leave and tell you when it’s ready to use.
- We clean the area and remove any loose enamel or rust.
- The chip or crack is filled, then sanded level with the bath.
- We tint the finish on the day to suit your bath’s shade of white or colour.
- Finish coats go on, then the repair is polished to blend in.
- Once it has cured, normally by the next day, the bath is ready to use.
Cost
Our bath repair starts from £95. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. You’ll see the full price before you book, with no extras added later.

What we are called out for in ME4
A bath gets knocked about more than you’d think: everyday items get dropped into it all the time, and taps and wastes are tightened against the surface. Sooner or later, most baths pick up a chip.
Look out for any of the following:
- A cracked acrylic bath
- Rust spots around the plughole
- Chips along the edge of the bath
- Damage beneath the taps
What affects the price in ME4
Repairs from £95. We give every job a fixed price from photos. These are the things that affect it:
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- The type of damage
- How hard the colour is to match
Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for ME4. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Quotes from your photos
Most quotes are done from photos alone. To help us price it:
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Any details about the material
- Details of any past repairs
- One picture of the entire bath
The quickest way to a price is to send two or three photos using our quote form or call us. We’ll say straight away if a repair is the right fix.
What a repair can’t fix
A repair is not right for every job, for example:
- Cracks in acrylic we can’t reach from underneath
- A bath that moves underfoot, until its support is fixed
- A bath worn all over, where resurfacing makes more sense
Materials and what they mean for the repair
Acrylic
Acrylic baths are moulded sheet reinforced underneath. They do not rust, but they can crack, scratch or be holed, and a crack only stays repaired if it’s supported underneath.
Composite and resin
Composite baths are dense and solid, and frequently freestanding. Chips and scratches can be filled and colour matched, in much the same way.
Work for landlords and builders
If you manage property in ME4, we will quote for several properties at once. Send photos for each one and we’ll price them together.
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, so there’s no need to replace a damaged item at the last minute. We can visit several plots in one trip to keep costs down.
Questions from ME4
Can you repair a crack in an acrylic bath?
Most of the time. The back of the crack is strengthened before the front is filled and refinished, so we need access under the bath.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes: twelve months. If there is a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
When can you do it?
That depends on our diary for your area. Send pictures with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.
Do you come to ME4?
Yes, we do. Technicians travel to ME4 from across the region, with no extra charge for travel.
Is a repair better than a new one?
In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.
How much does bath repair cost in ME4?
Repairs from £95. Because every job differs, we price from pictures. You know the full cost before anything is booked.
Can you repair a failed DIY repair?
Yes, we do this often. The old material comes out, any rust is treated, then we repair it properly.
