About our shower tray repair in Wales
Before repairing a crack, we find out why it happened. A tray that moves needs its support sorting first, so the repair lasts. If you are dealing with a crack across the base and chips on the edges, we can help.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months. We return to put right any problem with the work.

What affects the price in Wales
Prices start from £95. We do not charge extra for travel to Wales. The price comes down to:
- How many areas need work
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- How hard the colour is to match
Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and combining items on one visit brings it down.
Send pictures for a quote
Phone pictures are fine, there is no need for anything special. Just make sure we can see:
- Natural light rather than flash
- The material, if you know it
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the shower tray, add your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a tray normally involves taking out the enclosure and tiles, relaying the base and re-tiling. A repair or resurface leaves all of that alone. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking, with no extras added later.
Why us?
- Usually one visit, start to finish
- Every repair guaranteed for a year
- No need to remove anything
- Colour mixed on the day to match

How it works
You don’t need to empty the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and start once you are happy with the plan. It normally takes a few hours for a repair, longer for a full resurface, and you can get on with other things while we are there.
- We make sure the tray doesn’t flex and look for the cause of any crack.
- Next we clean and prepare the tray.
- Chips and cracks are filled, reinforced and sanded level.
- The repair is colour-matched, or the entire tray gets a new finish.
- Once cured, typically by the next day, you can use the shower.
How to prepare
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Open a window if you can
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive

If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.

Common questions in Wales
Will the price change on the day?
The price is fixed for what the pictures show. If there’s more, we will tell you before starting.
Will it make a mess?
No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.
Can you make an old tray look new?
Yes. The whole tray can be resurfaced.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes. We carry out repairs for homeowners, landlords, letting agents, builders and businesses across Somerset.
How long does it take to cure?
Normally by the following day. We’ll tell you the exact time when we finish.
What do you need from me?
Just photos, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, we only need access to the room.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Generally, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
Is there a guarantee?
All our work carries a one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.
Aftercare tips
How the surface is treated afterwards matters. Here’s what we suggest:
- Report any creaking or movement early
- Give the tray a quick rinse after use
- Check the seal every few months
- Use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner
Check the silicone around the tray every few months, and reseal when it starts to fail.
Don’t keep using a cracked tray. Water may be getting under the tray, and the damage below is not visible.
