UPVC repair in Ball

What uPVC repair costs

Prices start from £95. There is no charge for travel to Ball. The price comes down to:

  • How many areas need work
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • The material and finish
  • How many items we do on one visit

Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Ball. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Getting a price from photos

Before you send pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:

  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • A wider photo showing the entire window, door or sill
  • The material, if you know it
  • Your postcode, so we can check dates

A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the window, door or sill, add your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

uPVC repair in Ball without replacing anything

We also do snagging repairs for builders. The damage is filled and refinished so it blends into the frame, woodgrain finishes included. We work on conservatory frames, window frames & sills and coloured and woodgrain uPVC, and the jobs we see most are burns on sills and holes from removed fittings and alarms.

You’re covered after we leave: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we’ll explain exactly what it covers when we quote. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Don’t use solvents or scourers.

How it works

It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We confirm the time with you beforehand, cover and mask the work area, then carry out the work, which normally takes a morning or an afternoon. If anything looks different from your pictures, we will talk to you before going ahead.

  1. We start by cleaning the frame.
  2. We fill scratches, chips and holes.
  3. We sand the repair smooth.
  4. We match the colour, including woodgrain finishes.
  5. Finally we blend it into the rest of the frame.

Before we arrive

  • Keep a parking space free if you can
  • Have a window or extractor fan available
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work

Advice

Repairing versus replacing in Ball

Replacing the frame or sill costs far more, and new uPVC may not match the weathered frames around it. Repairing the damage keeps the original. Prices start from £95. There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Work for landlords and builders

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, putting right damage done during fitting. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. Several plots can be done in one visit.

Can I fix it myself?

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is normally the cheaper route.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
