How we price uPVC repair

Repairs from £95. There is no charge for travel to Old Hall. The price depends on:

  • The colour and finish to match
  • How much damage there is
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear

A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. You’ll see the full price before you book, with nothing added on the day.

Quotes from your pictures

A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. It helps if you send:

  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • One sharp close-up of the damage

Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can give you a fixed price the same day in most cases.

Repairing versus replacing in Old Hall

Replacing the frame or sill is a much bigger job, and new uPVC may not match the weathered frames around it. Repairing the damage leaves the unit in place. Our uPVC repair starts from £95. What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

What you get with us

  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
  • Straight answers about what a repair can do
  • One-year guarantee on every repair
  • Generally one visit, start to finish

Should I try a DIY kit first?

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair will not last.

If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.

How the visit works

Visits start with a quick look at the job together, so you know exactly what we are doing. Then the area is sheeted and masked and we start. You can expect it to take a morning or an afternoon, and we’ll keep you posted as we go.

  1. First the frame or panel is cleaned.
  2. We fill scratches, chips and holes.
  3. We smooth the repair.
  4. The finish is colour-matched, woodgrain included.
  5. Finally we blend it into the rest of the frame.

Before we arrive

  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Let us know which floor the room is on
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible

How to get a price

Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them to us with your postcode, and you’ll get a fixed quote back. There’s no charge for the quote and no obligation.
