Trusted uPVC repair in Oxspring

uPVC repair in Oxspring without replacing anything

The damage is filled and refinished to match the frame, including woodgrain finishes. We also do snagging repairs for builders. We regularly repair coloured and woodgrain uPVC, conservatory frames and white uPVC, and common reasons people contact us are damage during building work and holes from removed fittings and alarms.

We guarantee the work for a year. If something is not right in that time, we come back and put it right. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Don’t use solvents or scourers.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is usually the cheaper route.

When to call us in Oxspring

uPVC is tough but not indestructible: ladders, tools and building work scratch and chip it, candles and cigarettes burn sills, and removed fittings leave holes.

Typical reasons for a call-out include:

  • Holes from removed fittings and alarms
  • Chips and dents
  • Scratches from ladders and furniture
  • Damage during building work

What uPVC repair costs

Repairs from £95. We do not charge extra for travel to Oxspring. The price depends on:

  • Access to the area
  • Doing more than one item at once
  • The material
  • The colour and finish to match

Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

How to get a fixed quote

You can take the photos on your phone, there is no need for anything special. Make sure they show:

  • Where you are, by postcode
  • A wider photo showing the entire window, door or sill
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus

Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them to us with your postcode, and you’ll get a fixed price back. There’s no charge for the quote and no obligation.

Repairing versus replacing in Oxspring

A new window, door or sill is a much bigger job, and it may not match the rest after years of weathering. Repairing the damage keeps the original. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Oxspring. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Why us?

  • Nothing taken out or refitted
  • Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
  • A year’s guarantee on all work
  • CHAS and Constructionline accredited

The process

It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, protect the area, then carry out the work, which normally takes a morning or an afternoon. If we find something your photos didn’t show, we’ll explain it before carrying on.

  1. First the frame or panel is cleaned.
  2. We fill scratches, chips and holes.
  3. We sand the repair smooth.
  4. We colour-match the finish, including woodgrain effects.
  5. Finally we blend it into the rest of the frame.

How to prepare

  • Open a window if you can
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Let us know which floor the room is on

Get a quote

You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.
