Need uPVC repair in Rock?

Prices and what affects them

Repairs from £95. Prices are worked out job by job, from your photos. What matters most is:

  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • The material
  • Doing more than one item at once
  • The colour and finish to match

Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

Getting a price from pictures

Before you send photos, these tips help us give you a firm price:

  • Your postcode, so we can check dates
  • Any details about the material
  • A photo taken from further back
  • One sharp close-up of the damage

Most clients in Rock get their price from pictures. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.

uPVC repair in Rock, done in place

Builders and developers use us for snagging repairs too. The damage is filled and refinished so it blends into the frame, including woodgrain finishes. Typical jobs include damage during building work and scratches from ladders and furniture, on coloured and woodgrain uPVC, conservatory frames and white uPVC.

All our work is covered by a one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Shropshire. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth are all it needs. Don’t use solvents or scourers.

Why repair rather than replace?

A new window, door or sill costs far more, and it may not match the rest after years of weathering. A repair keeps the original. Prices start from £95. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Why Rock customers choose us

  • Generally one visit, start to finish
  • Colour-matched on site

Questions from Rock

Do you come to Rock?

Yes. We cover the entire UK and come to Rock. Send us photos for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

What happens after I send photos?

You get a fixed quote and available dates. If anything’s unclear, we’ll ask for another photo.

I rent my home. Can I book you?

Of course. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.

Will the price change on the day?

It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. The price only changes if you agree.

When can you do it?

It depends on the time of year and where you are. We’ll offer you dates when we send your quote.

Is a repair better than a new one?

Typically, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we will say so.

What information do you need?

A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.

Is it safe with children and pets around?

Just keep them out of the work area. We will tell you when the room can be used again.

Common problems we fix in Rock

uPVC is tough but not indestructible: ladders, tools and building work scratch and chip it, candles and cigarettes burn sills, and removed fittings leave holes.

These are the problems we’re asked about most:

  • Scratches from ladders and furniture
  • Holes from removed fittings and alarms
  • Chips and dents
  • Burns on sills

Before you book anyone

  • What prep work is covered
  • Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
  • How your room will be protected

Advice

Should I try a DIY kit first?

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair won’t last.

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is generally cheaper.
