Bath re-enamelling at your home in Lydiard Tregoze
After cleaning, repairing and priming, we spray on the new finish. The preparation is what makes it last, so we don’t cut corners on it. We are often asked to fix staining under the taps and around the waste and a bath that stays dull however much you clean it, on acrylic baths, basins & shower trays and cast iron baths.
Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do.

Landlords, agents and businesses in Lydiard Tregoze
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. We can visit several plots in one trip.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
Repair or replace in Lydiard Tregoze?
Replacement only makes sense in a few cases: a cracked-through bath, a change of size or shape, or a full refit. In most other cases, resurfacing is the better choice. Our bath re-enamelling starts from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
What you get with us
- A fixed quote before booking
- Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
- No need to remove anything
- CHAS and Constructionline accredited

Common problems we fix in Lydiard Tregoze
The gloss on enamel is thin, and every scrub with an abrasive cleaner takes a little away. After years of use, the surface becomes porous and stains easily.
Keep an eye out for these signs:
- A bath that stays dull however much you clean it
- An old resurfacing that’s failing
- A roll-top that is seen better days
- An outdated colour you’d like to change
What your quote should include
- Whether there are any call-out or travel charges
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
- Who will actually do the work
- What preparation is included

How we price bath re-enamelling
Prices start from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:
- How many areas need work
- Doing more than one item at once
- The material and finish
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before you book.
Send photos for a quote
The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what we find most useful:
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- The material, if you know it
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us photos through the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can price the job the same day in most cases.
Your questions about bath re-enamelling in Lydiard Tregoze
Can landlords book you?
We do, regularly. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.
What do you need from me?
Some photos, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, we only need access to the room.
Are there extra charges for Lydiard Tregoze?
Travel is included in the price, with the same prices everywhere we work.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes: twelve months. If there is a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Does someone need to be in?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Include photos of each item.
Are you accredited?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
How soon can you come?
That depends on our diary for your area. We’ll offer you dates when we send your quote.
Different materials, different repairs
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are the classic candidate for re-enamelling. They’re built to last, and only the surface wears, so a new finish makes them look new again.
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it relies on good support. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
How the visit works
The work is clean and fairly quiet, so you can carry on at home. Protection goes down first, then the work takes a full day. At the end we talk you through the curing time and the aftercare.
- We check the bath and agree the finish with you.
- Taps, tiles and the floor are masked off.
- The bath is degreased, repaired and keyed.
- Primer and finish coats are applied.
- We remove the masking, tidy up and give you the curing time.
Getting ready for the visit
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
How to get a price
Upload pictures of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, and tell us you are in Lydiard Tregoze, and we will come back with a fixed quote.
