Bath re-enamelling & resurfacing in The Moor, Kent
Full bath re-enamelling and resurfacing for homes and businesses in The Moor and across Kent. Free, fixed quotes from your photos.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Worn patches where water runs and sits
- Brown or grey marks that don’t clean off

Can I fix it myself?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
Bath re-enamelling in The Moor without replacing anything
After cleaning, repairing and priming, we spray on the new finish. Most of the work, and most of the durability, is in the preparation, so we do not cut corners on it. If you are dealing with a peeling or bubbling previous coating and wear marks under the taps, we can help, whatever the material.
You’re covered for a year from the day of the repair. Just call us if there is a problem and we’ll sort it.

When a repair is not the answer
We’ll always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:
- A metal bath with a through crack
- A poorly supported acrylic bath, until it’s firmed up
- Steel that has corroded right through
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think.
What we work on
- Victorian roll-tops
- Cast iron baths
- Pressed steel baths
- Basins & shower trays
- Acrylic baths
What we do, step by step
We agree an arrival time beforehand. Once we’re there, the work takes most of the day in most cases. We leave the room clean and ready to use once it has cured.
- First we look the bath over and confirm the finish.
- Taps, tiles and the floor are masked off.
- We degrease the bath, fix any damage and key the surface.
- We apply the primer and then the finish coats.
- We remove the masking, tidy up and give you the curing time.
Getting ready for the visit
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Make sure the room can be ventilated
Getting a price
No survey visit is needed: we price from photos. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. We give every job a fixed quote from photos. This is what makes a difference:
- How many items we do on one visit
- Access to the area
- How many areas need work
- The material
What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed price from your photos, so you know the cost before you book.
Send photos for a quote
We price nearly every job from photos. This is what we need:
- A wider photo showing the whole bath
- The material, if you know it
- Where you are, by postcode
- One sharp close-up of the damage
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can price the job.
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing the bath means a plumber, removing a heavy bath, making good the walls and tiles and several days without a working bathroom. Resurfacing renews the whole surface without moving it. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for The Moor. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Why us?
- One visit for most repairs
- Colour mixed on the day to match
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
- One price list for the entire UK

How to care for the repair
Once the work has cured, treat it gently:
- Repair dripping taps early
- Do not leave bottles, razors or sponges standing on the surface
- Never use suction bath mats
- Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent
The first few days matter most: let it cure fully, then use mild cleaners only. After that, no abrasives and no suction mats.
Rust spots on a worn bath get worse with time. Resurfacing before they spread keeps it simpler.
Repairs by material
Pressed steel
Steel baths re-enamel well, once any rust has been treated. Steel often rusts by the plughole, so we pay close attention there.
Roll-top and period baths
We can resurface a roll-top inside and out, with the outside refinished as well.
Common problems we fix in The Moor
Older baths frequently have several problems at once: worn patches, chips, rust spots and stains. Resurfacing sorts them out together.
Common reasons people in The Moor contact us are:
- Several chips and rust patches
- Enamel that is lost its shine and feels rough
- A bath in a colour that no longer suits
- A period or roll-top bath worth keeping
