What bath repair costs
Prices start from £95. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:
- How many items we do on one visit
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- The size and number of damaged areas
Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is normally a fraction of the price, because there is no removal, plumbing or making good. The quote lists exactly what you’re paying for.
How to get a fixed price
Two or three clear photos are generally enough. Try to include:
- Something in shot to show the size
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- The material, if you know it
Getting a price is easy: take a close-up of the damage and a photo from further back, send them to us with your postcode, and you’ll get a fixed quote back. There is no charge for the quote and no obligation.
Bath repair at your home in Barnet
Chips, cracks, rust spots and small holes is repaired in place. There is no plumbing to disconnect, the tiles aren’t touched, and the finish is matched to the rest of the bath. If you are dealing with damage done while the bathroom was being fitted and chips along the edge of the bath, we can normally put it right, whatever the material.
Every job is backed for twelve months. We return to put right any problem with the work.

How it works
Here’s how a visit generally runs: we arrive on time, protect everything around the work area, do the job and tidy away. Allow a morning or an afternoon from start to finish. Before leaving, we tell you how long to leave it and how to care for it.
- We protect the bath and the floor around it.
- The damaged area is cleaned, keyed and degreased, and any rust is treated.
- Filler goes in and is sanded flush once it has set.
- Colour and gloss are matched to the surrounding surface.
- We tidy up and tell you when the bath can be used, typically the next day.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Keep a parking space free if you can

Aftercare tips
Once the work has cured, treat it gently:
- Get any new chip repaired before it rusts
- Cover the bath during DIY or decorating
- Don’t leave razors or cans standing in the bath
- Fix dripping taps early to stop staining and limescale
For the first few days, keep heavy bottles off the repaired spot. After that, normal gentle cleaning is fine without abrasive products.
Small chips are quick to repair. Left alone, they stain and can rust, so early repair saves time and money.
Repair or replace: which is better?
A new bath costs more than the bath itself: removal and disposal, plumbing, a new panel, tiling and decorating. A repair is one job, done in one visit. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Why us?

Different materials, different repairs
Composite and resin
Composite baths are dense and solid. Chips and scratches can be filled and colour matched, in much the same way.
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are so heavy that repairing in place makes obvious sense. Only the enamel surface wears or chips, and that’s the part we put right.
What a repair can’t fix
Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits:
- A bath that flexes because its feet or cradle have failed (that needs fixing first)
- Wear across the entire surface, which needs re-enamelling
- Metal that has corroded all the way through
Send us photos and we will tell you honestly before booking.
Materials we repair
- Cast iron enamel
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Acrylic
- Pressed steel enamel
- Roll-top & freestanding
Barnet questions
Is there a guarantee?
Yes: twelve months. If there is a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Do I have to be there?
Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time we agree with you.
What areas do you cover?
The entire UK, including all of Greater London. Send your postcode with your photos and we’ll offer you dates.
Do you do work for letting agents?
Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as householders across Greater London.
How quickly can you book me in?
That depends on our diary for your area. Send photos with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.
Will you leave a mess?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.
Can you redo an old repair?
Yes. We remove the old filler and start again. Tell us about it when you send pictures.
Is it safe with children and pets around?
We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work and until it has cured. The rest of the house is unaffected.
DIY repairs versus a professional job
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is typically the cheaper route.
