You get a one-year guarantee, the same in Burnley as everywhere else we work.

Questions from Burnley
Is a cracked acrylic bath repairable?
Generally, yes, if we can reach the underside to reinforce it. Take off the bath panel and check, or send us a photo.
What if the damage is worse than the photos show?
We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.
Can pets and children be at home?
Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day, mainly so nothing gets touched before it has cured.
Do you hold any accreditations?
We’re accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit usually costs less than separate visits. Include pictures of each item.
Can you redo an old repair?
Regularly. We strip it out, deal with any rust and repair it again.
Can you repair a chip on a coloured bath?
Yes, we match coloured baths too. The colour is tinted by hand on the day.
Why repair rather than replace?
A new bath costs more than the bath itself: taking out the old one, plumbing, tiling, a panel and redecorating. A repair is one job, done in one visit. Our bath repair starts from £95. Compared with replacing, repairing generally costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you’re paying for.

How it works
Nothing needs to be moved out of the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, lay protective sheets and start once you’re happy with the plan. Most jobs take a morning or an afternoon, and you’re welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- First, we check the damage against your pictures and agree the plan.
- Loose enamel, rust and dirt are removed so the repair can bond.
- The damage is filled in layers and shaped to the curve of the bath.
- We tint the finish by hand to match the bath.
- The repair is polished to the same gloss as the bath and left to cure.
Getting ready for the visit
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
How to get a price
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the bath, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

Keeping it looking good
So the finish stays in good condition:
- Check that an acrylic bath does not move when you stand in it
- Use a soft cloth and washing-up liquid for everyday cleaning
- Rinse it down after each bath
- Keep abrasive pads and gritty cleaners away from the bath
Give the repair the full curing time we recommend before using the bath. After that, gentle cleaning keeps it looking good.
Do not leave a chip on a steel or cast iron bath. Water gets to the metal and rust starts, and a rust spot is a bigger repair than a clean chip.
DIY repairs versus a professional job
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
Different materials, different repairs
Pressed steel
Under the enamel of a steel bath is thin metal. Exposed steel rusts quickly, so we treat and seal the metal before filling.
Composite and resin
Composite baths are dense and solid, and often freestanding. Chips and scratches can be filled and colour-matched, in much the same way.
What we cannot put right
A repair isn’t always the answer, and we’d rather say so up front. We cannot fix:
- Cracks in acrylic we can’t reach from underneath
- Wear across the whole surface, which needs re-enamelling
- Rust that has eaten right through a steel bath
Send us photos and we will tell you honestly.
What we work on
- Pressed steel enamel
- Acrylic
- Roll-top & freestanding
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Cast iron enamel
Work for landlords and builders
We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access and we’ll handle the rest.
If you manage property in Burnley, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send photos for each one and we will come back with a combined price.
What affects the price in Burnley
Repairs from £95. There is no area surcharge for Burnley. The price reflects:
- How much damage there is
- How easy the damage is to reach
- The material and finish
- How many items we do on one visit
A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
Quotes from your photos
You can normally get a fixed quote without us visiting. To help us price it:
- A wider photo showing the whole bath
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- Details of any past repairs
Upload a picture of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, and tell us you are in Burnley, and we will come back with a fixed quote.
