We repair just the damaged spot and colour-match it to the bath, which costs far less than replacing a fitted bath and the tiles around it. You can usually use the bath the following day. Typical jobs include a failed DIY repair that’s discoloured or lifting and cracks in an acrylic bath, on acrylic, roll-top & freestanding and pressed steel enamel.

Do you need bath repair in Milton?
Damage during fitting is very common. Tools, tiles and fittings get dropped into the bath, often before anyone notices. We repair snagging damage like this regularly.
Typical reasons for a call-out include:
- Deep scratches in acrylic
- An old repair that has yellowed or come loose
- Damage done while the bathroom was being fitted
- Cracks in an acrylic bath
Before you book anyone
- How long it needs to cure
- If travel is included in the price
- What aftercare is recommended
- Whether they match the colour on site
Should I try a DIY kit first?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
Work for landlords and builders
For anyone letting property in or around Milton, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Send photos for each one and we’ll come back with a combined price.
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.

Can a cracked acrylic bath be fixed?
Frequently, yes, as long as we can get to the back of the crack to support it. Check under the bath panel, or send us a picture.

Is a bath repair permanent?

How invisible is a bath repair?

Most baths can be used the day after. We will tell you the exact curing time when we finish.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send photos of everything you’d like done.
Are you accredited?

What a repair cannot fix
A repair isn’t right for every job, including:
- Cracks in acrylic we cannot reach from underneath
- Rust that has eaten right through a steel bath
- Flexing caused by a failed cradle or loose feet
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

- Acrylic
- Whirlpool & spa baths

- Roll-top & freestanding
How to care for the repair
Simple care helps the repair last. Our advice:
- Don’t leave a fresh chip for long
- Avoid scourers, wire wool and gritty cream cleaners
- A dripping tap stains enamel, so fix it early
- Clean with warm water and a mild detergent
In the first few days, avoid putting weight or bottles on the repair. After that, normal gentle cleaning is fine, avoiding abrasives.
Until we visit, a strip of waterproof tape over the damage helps, so water can’t get in. Remove it before the repair.
How the visit works
On the day, we arrive at the time we’ve agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. The job usually takes two to three hours for most chips. We tidy up before we leave and tell you when it’s ready to use.
- We clean the area and remove any loose enamel or rust.
- We fill the damage and sand it flush with the surrounding surface.
- We tint the finish on the day to suit your bath’s shade of white or colour.
- We apply the finish coats and polish the repair so it blends in.
- The repair is left to cure, and most baths can be used the next day.
Preparing for the visit
- Make sure the area is dry
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
How to get a price
Upload photos of the damage and one of the whole item, and tell us you are in Milton, and we will reply with a fixed quote.
Advice
Different materials, different repairs
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it relies on good support. Cracks are strengthened from behind before the front is finished.
Cast iron
Cast iron is heavy and rigid, finished with fired enamel. Chips can rust if left, but the bath itself lasts for generations, which makes it well worth repairing.
About our accreditations · Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee.
