Bath repair in Morton, done in place
Whatever the damage, the aim is the same: a repair that is smooth, sound and hard to spot. We prepare the area properly, fill and shape it, then match the colour and gloss so it’s level with the surrounding surface. If you are dealing with damage done while the bathroom was being fitted and an old repair that has yellowed or come loose, we can help.
You are covered for a year from the day of the repair. If anything is not right, ring us and we’ll sort it.

Materials and what they mean for the repair
Composite and resin
Composite baths are dense and solid, and frequently freestanding. Chips and scratches are filled and matched, in much the same way.
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are thick and very strong, finished with fired enamel. Chips can rust if left, but the bath itself lasts for generations, so it’s always worth repairing.
What we cannot put right
A repair is not always the answer, and we will tell you before we start. Repairs won’t solve:
- A steel bath rusted through
- A whole bath that’s dull or worn, where a full re-enamel is the better fix
- Cracks in acrylic we can’t reach from underneath
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly.
Surfaces we repair
- Pressed steel enamel
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Acrylic
- Roll-top & freestanding
- Cast iron enamel
How the visit works
You do not need to empty the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and get going once we’ve agreed what we are doing. It normally takes a few hours, depending on the damage, and you’re welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- We clean the area and remove any loose enamel or rust.
- The chip or crack is filled, then sanded level with the bath.
- We tint the finish on the day to suit your bath’s shade of white or colour.
- We apply the finish coats and polish the repair so it blends in.
- The repair is left to cure, and most baths can be used the next day.
How to prepare
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Make sure the room can be ventilated
- Let the surface dry out before the visit

Questions from Morton
What happens once I’ve sent photos?
We come back with a fixed price, plus dates. There’s no obligation to book.
Do I have to be there?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.
What information do you need?
Send photos through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we will take it from there.
Can pets and children be at home?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children, so the repair is not disturbed while it cures.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
Generally, yes. Clear photos let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.
How quickly can you book me in?
Your quote comes with available dates. Tell us if you need it done quickly.
Can you repair a chip on a coloured bath?
Yes, we match coloured baths too. The colour is tinted by hand on the day.
Is a bath repair permanent?
A properly prepared repair should last a long time, and it’s guaranteed for a year. Gentle cleaning helps it last.
Repairing versus replacing in Morton
Swapping a damaged bath for a new one typically means a plumber, removing the old bath, making good the tiles and panel and disposing of the old one. Repairing it fixes just the damaged area in one visit. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

For landlords and businesses
We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, putting right damage done during fitting. We’re CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.
If you manage property in Morton, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Just send pictures for each address and we will come back with a combined price.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
