Bath Repair in Yarborough
Chip and crack repairs to enamel, acrylic and cast iron baths at your home in Yarborough, with a one-year guarantee on every repair.
- Repairs from £95
- A failed DIY repair that is discoloured or lifting
- Hairline or through cracks in acrylic

Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
About our bath repair in Yarborough
A damaged bath does not have to mean a new bathroom. We fill the damage, shape it to the curve of the bath and refinish it, mixing the colour on the day. We’re frequently asked to fix damage beneath the taps and chips caused by builders, on whirlpool & spa baths, pressed steel enamel and acrylic.
A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover.

Repair or replace: which is better?
Cast iron baths in particular are worth repairing: getting one out, particularly from an upstairs bathroom, is a big job, and a like-for-like replacement can be expensive. Repairing it leaves it where it is. Our bath repair starts from £95. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed price from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.
Why book with us
- One-year guarantee on every repair
- Work done at your home or business
- Honest advice, even when it means no job
- No need to remove anything

When to call us in Yarborough
A bath gets knocked about more than you’d think: everyday items get dropped into it all the time, and taps and wastes are tightened against the surface. Over time, chips and rust spots are almost inevitable.
Signs it’s time to call us include:
- A chip where the taps sit
- Chips along the edge of the bath
- A kit repair that didn’t last
- Impact holes in acrylic
What to look for in a quote
- What the guarantee covers, and for how long
- Whether there are any call-out or travel charges
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
- Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?
What affects the price in Yarborough
Repairs from £95. We price every job individually. What matters most is:
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- The colour and finish to match
- The type of damage
- The size and number of damaged areas
The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. You will see the full price before you book, with nothing added on the day.
Quotes from your pictures
When you take your pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
Upload a photo of the damage and one of the whole item, and tell us you’re in Yarborough, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.

Different materials, different repairs
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it relies on good support. Cracks are strengthened from behind before the front is finished.
Composite and resin
Stone resin and composite baths are heavy and solid, and frequently freestanding. Chips and scratches can be filled and colour-matched, just like other baths.
Aftercare tips
Nothing complicated is needed, just a few sensible habits:
- Clean with warm water and a mild detergent
- Don’t scrub with anything abrasive
- If an acrylic bath flexes, have its feet adjusted
- Protect the bath with a towel when doing jobs nearby
A repaired bath needs no special treatment. Avoid bleach-based and gritty cleaners and give it a rinse after each bath.
Until we visit, a strip of waterproof tape over the damage helps, so water can’t get in. Take it off before we arrive.
What we do, step by step
When we visit, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. The job typically takes two to three hours for most chips. We tidy up before we leave and let you know when you can use it again.
- We protect the bath and the floor around it.
- We clean, key and degrease the damage, and any rust is treated.
- Filler goes in and is sanded flush once it has set.
- We match both the colour and the shine.
- We tidy up and tell you when the bath can be used, typically the following day.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Make sure the area is dry
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
