Bath Resealing for Aberaman homes
Bath, shower and sink resealing with new mould-resistant silicone in Aberaman, carried out at your home and guaranteed for a year.
- Gaps by the taps
- Black spots in the silicone
- Sealant that’s split or lifting

Bath resealing in Aberaman, done in place
A fresh seal protects your bathroom. Failed sealant lets water get where it shouldn’t, and resealing puts a stop to that. We are often asked to fix silicone coming away from the tiles and leaks at the edges, in baths, kitchen worktops & sinks and basins & vanity units.
We guarantee the work for a year. If something is not right in that time, we come back and put it right.

Aberaman questions
What happens after I send pictures?
You’ll get a fixed quote back, plus dates. There is no obligation to book.
Are there extra charges for Aberaman?
Travel is included in the price, and we charge the same wherever you are.
Do you hold any accreditations?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Do you seal over the old sealant?
Never over old. It’s removed, cleaned off and the joint dried first.
How quickly can you book me in?
We’ll give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.
Do I have to be there?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.
Why does my sealant keep going mouldy?
Usually poor ventilation and moisture sitting on the joint. Mould-resistant silicone and good ventilation help.
My seal keeps tearing. Why?
Movement is the usual cause. We seal baths full of water.
What we do, step by step
Nothing needs to be moved out of the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and start once you are happy with the plan. It typically takes a couple of hours, and you can get on with other things while we’re there.
- The old silicone is cut out completely.
- We remove the residue and clean the joint.
- Any mould is treated and the joint dried.
- The bath is filled with water, or weight put on the tray.
- New mould-resistant silicone is applied and tooled neatly.
Getting ready for the visit
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
How to get a price
Most customers in Aberaman get their price from photos. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.
Advice
Looking after it afterwards
To keep it looking its best:
- Air the room after use
- Keep bottles off the joints
- Keep the joints dry
- Clean the sealant gently and regularly
Use the extractor fan, wipe the joints dry after use, and clean them regularly with a mild cleaner to slow mould growth.
If you notice damp, stains on the ceiling below or loose tiles, act quickly. There may be more going on, so we will tell you if it needs a builder or plumber.
When a repair is not the answer
Not everything can be repaired, and we will tell you before we start. We cannot fix:
- Tiles that move, until they’re refixed
- Gaps so wide they need filling or trims before sealing
- Movement in the bath or tray
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before booking.
Surfaces we repair
- Basins & vanity units
- Baths
- Wet rooms
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Shower trays & enclosures
What affects the price in Aberaman
You won’t pay by the hour. The price depends on:
- The colour and finish to match
- The material and finish
- The type of damage
- How easy the damage is to reach
Set against the cost of replacement, repairing normally costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Quotes from your pictures
You can take the photos on your phone. Just ensure we can see:
- Details of any past repairs
- Where you are, by postcode
- Natural light rather than flash
- A photo taken from further back
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can price the job.
Can I fix it myself?
For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
Work for landlords and builders
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit.

Is resealing worth it?
A reseal is one of the cheapest bathroom jobs there is, and it protects everything around the bath. Leaving failed sealant can let water cause damage that costs far more to fix. Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Aberaman. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
