Bath resealing in Ash, done in place
All of the old sealant is cut out, deal with any mould, and apply fresh mould-resistant silicone. We do this for baths, showers, sinks and worktops, and that includes the awkward spots behind the taps. We are often asked to fix leaks at the edges and sealant that’s split or lifting, across baths, basins & vanity units and shower trays & enclosures.
Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do.

What else we do in Ash
Looking after it afterwards
Once the work has cured, treat it gently:
- Use the extractor fan
- Reseal at the first sign of lifting
- Keep bottles off the joints
- Open a window after bathing
Keep the room well ventilated, and wipe the joints after use to keep mould away.
Damp below or loose tiles need checking quickly. It may be more than a reseal, so we will tell you if it needs a builder or plumber.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is typically cheaper.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair won’t last.
Do you need bath resealing in Ash?
In time, even good sealant discolours. Steam, soap and movement all take their toll.
Contact us if you’ve noticed any of these:

- Missing sealant behind the taps
- Black mould in the sealant
- Sealant that’s split or lifting
