Bath Resealing for Broadwaters homes
Fixed-price bath resealing in Broadwaters and the surrounding area, typically in one visit and guaranteed for a year.
- Stained silicone
- Water getting behind the bath or tray
- An untidy old seal

DIY kit or professional repair?
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
Bath resealing in Broadwaters without replacing anything
A reseal is a small job that makes a big difference. Clean, white joints make a bathroom look cared for, and they keep water out. We are often asked to fix black spots in the silicone and gaps in the seal, across kitchen worktops & sinks, shower trays & enclosures and wet rooms.
You are covered for a year from the day of the repair. Just call us if there is a problem and we’ll come back.

- We remove the old sealant and every trace of residue.
- The joint is cleaned, treated and dried.
- We run a continuous bead of new silicone.
- We smooth the bead, remove the tape and leave it to cure.

When a repair is not the answer
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- Gaps too big for silicone alone
- Loose tiles, which need refixing first
- Movement in the bath or tray
Send us photos and we will tell you honestly.
What we work on
- Baths
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Wet rooms
- Shower trays & enclosures
- Basins & vanity units
Repairs by material
Baths
We fill the bath before sealing, to open the joint fully.
Shower trays
Trays are sealed with weight on them, so the joint is at its widest.
Why it’s worth resealing in Broadwaters
Compared with repairing water damage, resealing is cheap. It’s a quick job that protects your walls and floors. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
What you get with us
- Fixed prices from your pictures
- We leave the room as we found it
- Most jobs done in one visit
- CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
See our prices page.
How to look after the repair
Looking after the surface is easy, and it makes a real difference:
- Clean the joints with a mild cleaner
- Ventilate the bathroom well
- Store bottles on a shelf
- Replace the seal when mould sets in
Let it cure fully before using the bath or shower, typically around 24 hours.
If you notice damp, stains on the ceiling below or loose tiles, act quickly. It may be more than a reseal, so we will tell you if it needs a builder or plumber.
How we price bath resealing
There is no area surcharge for Broadwaters. The price reflects:
- Whether we combine several jobs
- Access to the area
- How much damage there is
- What the surface is made of
Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Broadwaters. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Quotes from your pictures
The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what we find most useful:
- Details of any past repairs
- Something in shot to show the size
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire bath or shower, we can price the job without visiting.
