Bath resealing in Brook Green without replacing anything

Resealing is one of the simplest ways to protect your bathroom. Failed sealant lets water get where it shouldn’t, and resealing puts a stop to that. We work on kitchen worktops & sinks, shower trays & enclosures and basins & vanity units, and common reasons people get in touch are unsealed corners and discoloured, yellow sealant.

Peace of mind is built in: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we explain what it covers before booking.

What happens on the day

You do not need to empty the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and start once you’re happy with the plan. It generally takes a couple of hours, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.

  1. We cut out all of the old sealant.
  2. We remove the residue and clean the joint.
  3. Any mould is treated and the joint dried.
  4. The bath is filled with water, or weight put on the tray.
  5. We apply fresh mould-resistant silicone and tool a neat bead.

There’s no separate call-out charge. Your fixed quote includes everything.

How long does resealing take?

Most reseals take about two hours. It then needs time to cure.

Can you price it without visiting?

In nearly every case. We only ask to see it in person if the photos can’t show what we need.

What does bath resealing cost?

Every job gets a fixed price from your photos. Send a close-up and a photo of the entire item with your W6 postcode.

What do you need from me?

Send photos through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we’ll take it from there.

Why does the silicone keep cracking?

The bath or tray is probably flexing. If it keeps happening, the support may need fixing.

Is there any odour?

Expect a mild smell while we’re working that clears as it cures.

How long before I can shower?

You will get the curing time from us.

What bath resealing costs

There is no area surcharge for Brook Green. The price reflects:

  • Doing more than one item at once
  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • How hard the colour is to match

A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.

How to get a fixed price

We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what we need:

  • The material, if you know it
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • Your postcode, so we can check dates
  • One picture of the entire bath or shower

Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them over with your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price. Quotes are free and you are under no obligation.

Looking after it afterwards

How the surface is treated afterwards matters:

  • Give the seal a regular clean
  • Dry the seal after bathing
  • Do not stand toiletries on the seal
  • Let steam out after showers

Do not scrape the sealant with anything sharp, and don’t stand bottles on the seal.

Don’t wait until water gets behind the bath. Gaps or lifting edges mean it needs doing.

Landlords, agents and businesses in Brook Green

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We can work around your bookings.

We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Send the address, photos and access details and we will arrange it.

What your bath or shower is made of matters

Baths

We fill the bath before sealing, to open the joint fully.

Sinks and worktops

We reseal basins, vanity tops and kitchen worktops, once the joint is completely dry.

What a repair cannot fix

To be straight with you, some problems need a different fix:

  • Loose tiles, which need refixing first
  • Very wide gaps that need a trim
  • Hidden water damage

If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think.

Resealing in Brook Green: why it matters

Resealing is routine maintenance. Putting off a reseal lets water get behind the bath or tray, which costs far more to put right. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed price from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.
