Bath & shower resealing (mastic) in Brunswick Park, Greater London
We travel to Brunswick Park for bath, shower and sink resealing with new mould-resistant silicone. Nothing is taken out, with a one-year guarantee.
- Mould you can’t clean out
- An untidy old seal
- Water getting behind the bath or tray

Repairs by material
Shower trays
We put weight on a tray before sealing it, so the joint is at its widest.
Sinks and worktops
We reseal basins, vanity tops and kitchen worktops, once the joint is completely dry.
How we handle bath resealing in Brunswick Park
Baths are resealed with water in them, so the joint is at its widest, which stops the new seal tearing the first time the bath is used. Typical jobs include a messy previous reseal and mould you can’t clean out, in baths, wet rooms and shower trays & enclosures.
Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do.

FAQs for Brunswick Park
Is my repair covered?
Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as homeowners across Greater London.
Why does the silicone keep cracking?
Generally because the bath or tray moves. We seal baths full of water.
What does bath resealing cost?
Because every job differs, we price from pictures. You’ll get a fixed figure before booking.
What information do you need?
Some pictures, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, access to the room.
Do you hold any accreditations?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
What happens once I’ve sent pictures?
We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote.
Do you charge for travel?
We do not add a call-out fee. The fixed price covers the visit and the work.
The process
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive on time, sheet and mask the area around the job, do the job and clear up. Plan for around two hours. Before we go, we will explain when it can be used and what to avoid for the first few days.
- The old silicone is cut out completely.
- Residue is removed and the joint cleaned.
- Any mould is treated and the joint dried.
- The bath is filled with water, or weight put on the tray.
- New mould-resistant silicone is applied and tooled neatly.
How to prepare
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Ensure the room can be ventilated
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift

When to call us in Brunswick Park
Black mould is the most common reason people reseal. It grows into the sealant itself, so cleaning cannot get it all out.
It’s worth getting a quote if you see:
- Damp near the bath
- Black spots in the silicone
- Gaps in the seal
- An untidy old seal
What your quote should include
- If travel is included in the price
- What aftercare is recommended
- How soon you can use it again
- Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.

What bath resealing costs
There’s no charge for travel to Brunswick Park. The price comes down to:
- The colour and finish to match
- What the surface is made of
- The type of damage
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed quote from your pictures, so there are no surprises on the day.
Send photos for a quote
Most quotes are done from photos alone. To make it quick:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- The material, if you know it
- Something in shot to show the size
- A wider photo showing the entire bath or shower
Email us a picture of the damage and one of the entire item, with your N11 postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
Why it’s worth resealing in Brunswick Park
Resealing is routine maintenance. Putting off a reseal lets water get behind the bath or tray, and that damage costs much more to fix. Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Why us?
- No need to remove anything
- Rooms protected and left tidy
- CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
- Free fixed quotes from pictures
See our prices page.
How to care for the repair
It’s all simple stuff:
- Run the extractor fan during and after showers
- Open a window after bathing
- Replace the seal when mould sets in
- Clean the joints with a mild cleaner
Let it cure fully before using the bath or shower, normally about a day.
If you notice damp, stains on the ceiling below or loose tiles, act quickly. It may be more than a reseal, so we will tell you if it needs a builder or plumber.
