Bath & shower resealing (mastic) in Cyprus, Greater London
Bath, shower and sink resealing with new mould-resistant silicone for homes and businesses in Cyprus and across Greater London. Send pictures for a free, fixed quote.
- Gaps in the seal
- Gaps by the taps
- Damp near the bath

Looking after it afterwards
How the surface is treated afterwards matters. Here’s what we suggest:
- Clean the joints with a mild cleaner
- Reseal when black spots will not clean off
- Let steam out after showers
- Use the extractor fan
Keep the room well ventilated, and wipe the joints after use.
Do not wait until water gets behind the bath. Gaps or lifting edges mean it needs doing.
Bath resealing at your home in Cyprus
Preparation is everything in a reseal: every bit of old silicone out, mould treated, the joint clean and dry. Then the fresh sealant goes on, in a neat, continuous bead. If you are dealing with missing sealant behind the taps and stained silicone, we can help.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there’s a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it.

Questions from Cyprus
Do you cover Cyprus?
Yes. We work across the UK and come to Cyprus. Send us pictures for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
My seal keeps tearing. Why?
Usually because the bath or tray moves, or it was sealed with the bath empty. We fill the bath before sealing it.
Does someone need to be in?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. You don’t need to watch us work.
Is the work guaranteed?
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.
Can you reseal over the old silicone?
Never over old. The old sealant is cut out and the joint cleaned and dried.
What do you need from me?
Use the quote form or ring 0345 017 0787, and we’ll do the rest.
Do you cover the entire of Greater London?
Everywhere in the UK, Cyprus included. There is no extra charge for travel.
What happens once I’ve sent pictures?
We come back with a fixed quote. You’re under no obligation.
Landlords, agents and businesses in Cyprus
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Cyprus as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it typically costs far less than a refit.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Is resealing worth it?
Resealing is a small job. Leaving split or mouldy sealant lets water get behind the bath or tray, which costs far more to put right. We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Cyprus. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Materials and what they mean for the repair
Sinks and worktops
We reseal basins, vanity tops and kitchen worktops, once the joint is completely dry.
Shower trays
We put weight on a tray before sealing it, so the joint is at its widest.

DIY repairs versus a professional job
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.
How we price bath resealing
There’s no charge for travel to Cyprus. The price depends on:
- Whether we combine several jobs
- The size and number of damaged areas
- The material and finish
- The colour and finish to match
No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
How to get a fixed price
Phone photos are fine. Just make sure we can see:
- A wider photo showing the entire bath or shower
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- Something in shot to show the size
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire bath or shower, include your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

What else we do in Cyprus
When to call us in Cyprus
Sealant does not last forever. Each shower leaves moisture and soap behind, which mould feeds on, and the joint flexes each time the bath fills.
Look out for any of the following:
- Water getting behind the bath or tray
- Old sealant that looks dirty
- Gaps in the seal
- Black mould in the sealant
Before you book anyone
- When it can be used again
- Aftercare advice
- Who will actually do the work
- How the room is protected while they work
How it works
On the day, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. Expect it to take around two hours. We tidy up before we leave and let you know when you can use it again.
- The surrounding area is protected and the joints masked.
- We remove the old sealant and every trace of residue.
- We clean, treat and dry the joint.
- We run a continuous bead of new silicone.
- We smooth the bead, remove the tape and leave it to cure.
Preparing for the visit
- Clear the area around the damage
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
Getting a price
No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and you will get a fixed figure back.
