Bath Resealing in Dailly
Our repair technicians come to Dailly for bath, shower and sink resealing with new mould-resistant silicone. Everything is done in place, and the work is guaranteed.
- Water getting behind the bath or tray
- Unsealed corners
- Old sealant that looks dirty

Looking after it afterwards
Much of the damage we repair could have been avoided. A few tips:
- Wipe the joints dry after use
- Clean the sealant gently and regularly
- Ventilate the bathroom well
- Store bottles on a shelf
Keep the room well ventilated, and dry the joints after bathing so mould struggles to take hold.
Reseal before water gets in. Split or lifting sealant is a sign it’s time.
About our bath resealing in Dailly
A fresh seal protects your bathroom. Old, split or mouldy sealant lets water get behind the bath or tray, and a new seal stops it. Typical jobs include unsealed corners and old sealant that looks dirty, across shower trays & enclosures, wet rooms and kitchen worktops & sinks.
Whatever the size of the job, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee in Dailly and across South Ayrshire.

Why reseal now?
Resealing costs very little and protects the walls and floor. Leaving failed sealant can let water cause damage that costs far more to fix. The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so there are no surprises on the day.

How it works
We begin by going over the job with you. Then the area is sheeted and masked and we start. You can expect it to take about two hours for a bath, and we will keep you posted as we go.
- We protect the area and mask the joint lines.
- We remove the old sealant and every trace of residue.
- The joint is cleaned, treated and dried.
- We run a continuous bead of new silicone.
- The bead is smoothed, the tape removed and the seal left to cure.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Make sure the room can be ventilated
How to get a price
No survey visit is needed: we price from photos. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and we will come back with a fixed figure.

What affects the price in Dailly
Each job gets its own fixed price. This is what makes a difference:
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Access to the area
- Doing more than one item at once
- The material
The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before booking, with no extras added later.
Getting a price from pictures
Photographing the damage takes a minute. Please include:
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Where you are, by postcode
- What it’s made of, if you know
- Details of any past repairs
For a price in Dailly, pictures are the quickest way: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. You will get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.
Can I fix it myself?
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and give it the full curing time. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.

Your questions about bath resealing in Dailly
Why does mould come back so fast?
Mould needs moisture. Ventilation and drying keep it clean longer.
What happens if you find more damage?
If we find something the photos didn’t show, we explain it first. You decide whether to go ahead.
What happens once I’ve sent photos?
You get a fixed price and available dates. If anything’s unclear, we’ll ask for another photo.
Can you quote from pictures?
Generally, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
In most cases, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. We will be honest if it’s not worth it.
Are there extra charges for Dailly?
Travel is included in the price, with the same prices everywhere we work.
How long does silicone take to cure?
We will give you the curing time, typically around a day.
How long will it take?
A bath or shower usually takes a couple of hours. It then needs time to cure.
Work for landlords and builders
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, so there is no need to replace a damaged item at the last minute. We can visit several plots in one trip.
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out pictures. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
