Bath resealing at your home in Dalscote
A proper reseal starts with removing every trace of the old silicone. Fresh sealant doesn’t stick to old, which is why many DIY jobs peel. Whether it’s missing sealant behind the taps and silicone coming away from the tiles, we can usually put it right, whatever the material.
You’re covered after we leave: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we’ll explain exactly what it covers when we quote.

Shower trays
Trays are sealed with weight on them, for the same reason.
Sinks and worktops
We reseal basins, vanity tops and kitchen worktops, once the joint is completely dry.
DIY kit or professional repair?
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

Yes. We carry out repairs for homeowners, landlords, letting agents, builders and businesses in Dalscote.
Can pets and children be at home?
Please keep children and pets out of the room during the visit. Everywhere else in the home is fine.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, for a year. If there is a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.

For landlords and businesses
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access and we will handle the rest.
If you manage property in Dalscote, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send photos for each one and we’ll come back with a combined price.
Looking after it afterwards
To keep it looking its best:
- Give the seal a regular clean
- Keep bottles off the joints
- Use the extractor fan
- Wipe the joints dry after use
Use the extractor fan, dry the joints after bathing, and clean them regularly with a mild cleaner to slow mould growth.
Don’t wait until water gets behind the bath. Gaps or lifting edges mean it needs doing.
What bath resealing costs
A fixed quote means you know the cost before you book. We take into account:
- Doing more than one item at once
- How easy the damage is to reach
- What the surface is made of
- How hard the colour is to match
What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before you book.
Send pictures for a quote
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:
- Any details about the material
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Something in shot to show the size
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
Email us pictures of the damage and one of the entire item, with your NN12 postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
The process
We turn up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and checks the damage against your pictures first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. Most visits take a couple of hours, and the room is left clean and tidy.
- The old silicone is cut out completely.
- We remove the residue and clean the joint.
- Any mould is treated and the joint dried.
- We fill the bath, or weight the tray, to open the joint.
- We apply fresh mould-resistant silicone and tool a neat bead.
Preparing for the visit
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area

Why it’s worth resealing in Dalscote
A reseal is one of the cheapest bathroom jobs there is, and it protects everything around the bath. Leaving failed sealant can let water cause damage that costs far more to fix. A repair normally costs much less than people expect, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send pictures and we’ll give you the exact figure.
Why book with us

Honest limits
A repair is not always the answer, and we’ll tell you before we start. We cannot fix:
- Water damage behind the bath that needs a builder
- Tiles that move, until they’re refixed
- A bath or tray that moves, until its support is fixed
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.
