Bath Resealing in Epsom
Local bath resealing for Epsom: a fixed quote from pictures, a tidy visit and a one-year guarantee.
- Gaps in the seal
- An untidy old seal
- Gaps by the taps

Can I fix it myself?
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
About our bath resealing in Epsom
All of the old sealant is cut out, deal with any mould, and reseal with new mould-resistant silicone. We reseal baths, showers, sinks and worktops, including the awkward bits behind the taps. We work on kitchen worktops & sinks, basins & vanity units and baths, and the jobs we see most are gaps in the seal and unsealed corners.
Whatever the size of the job, you get the same one-year guarantee.

Aftercare tips
How the surface is treated afterwards matters:
- Clean the sealant gently and regularly
- Reseal when black spots will not clean off
- Air the room after use
- Wipe the joints dry after use
Run the extractor fan, wipe the joints dry after use, and give them a regular clean with a mild cleaner to slow mould growth.
If you notice damp, stains on the ceiling below or loose tiles, act quickly. It may be more than a reseal, so we’ll tell you if it needs a builder or plumber.

Why reseal now?
A reseal is one of the cheapest bathroom jobs there is, and it protects everything around the bath. Failed sealant can lead to water damage that is much more expensive. A repair usually costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

Materials and what they mean for the repair
Shower trays
Trays are sealed with weight on them, for the same reason.
Sinks and worktops
Basins, vanity units and kitchen worktops are resealed too, with the joint fully dried first.
Landlord and trade work in Epsom
Letting agents often send us photos straight from the inventory. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
If you manage property in Epsom, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send pictures for each one and we’ll come back with a combined price.
When to call us in Epsom
Sealant doesn’t last forever. Each shower leaves moisture and soap behind, which mould loves, and the joint moves slightly every time the bath is filled.
If you can see any of these, send us a photo:
- Damp near the bath
- Silicone coming away from the tiles
- An untidy old seal
- Gaps by the taps
Comparing quotes
- What happens if they find more damage
- What aftercare is recommended
- A fixed price, and whether VAT is included
- If travel is included in the price
What happens on the day
You do not need to empty the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and get going once we’ve agreed what we are doing. Most jobs take around two hours, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- The surrounding area is protected and the joints masked.
- We remove the old sealant and every trace of residue.
- We clean, treat and dry the joint.
- We run a continuous bead of new silicone.
- The bead is smoothed, the tape removed and the seal left to cure.
Before we arrive
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Clear the area around the damage
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
Getting a price
You don’t need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.
Advice
What a repair cannot fix
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- Loose tiles, which need refixing first
- A bath or tray that moves, until its support is fixed
- Gaps too big for silicone alone
Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.
