Bath Resealing for Gallt-y-foel homes
Bath, shower and sink resealing with new mould-resistant silicone for homeowners, landlords and businesses in Gallt-y-foel. Free, fixed quotes from your photos.
- Stained silicone
- Black mould in the sealant
- Gaps in the seal

Should I try a DIY kit first?
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is typically the cheaper route.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
Bath resealing at your home in Gallt-y-foel
Baths are resealed with water in them, so the joint is at its widest, so the seal does not tear when the bath is first used. If you’re dealing with gaps in the seal and unsealed corners, we can help, on basins & vanity units, shower trays & enclosures and baths alike.
Every repair is covered by a one-year guarantee.

When a repair isn’t the answer
It helps to know what we cannot do:
- Movement in the bath or tray
- Hollow or loose tiles
- Gaps so wide they need filling or trims before sealing
Send us photos and we will tell you honestly.
What we work on
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Baths
- Wet rooms

- Shower trays & enclosures
How the visit works
Arrival times are agreed in advance, so you know when to expect us. Once we’re there, the work takes about two hours for a bath for most jobs. The room is left tidy and you’ll know when it can be used.
- First we strip out every bit of the old mastic.
- The joint is cleaned and any mould treated.
- We ensure the joint is completely dry.
- Baths are filled with water first, so the joint is at its widest.
- We apply new mould-resistant silicone and tool it to a neat finish, including around the taps.
Getting ready for the visit
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Make sure the room can be ventilated
Ask for a price
There is no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.

What bath resealing costs
Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- How much damage there is
- How easy the damage is to reach
- Doing more than one item at once
Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.
Getting a price from photos
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:
- A picture taken from further back
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the whole bath or shower, we can price the job the same day in most cases.

FAQs for Gallt-y-foel
How do I get a price for bath resealing in Gallt-y-foel?
The exact price depends on the damage, so we quote from pictures. You’ll get a fixed figure before booking.
How long does resealing take?
Most reseals take about two hours. It then needs time to cure.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Include photos of each item.
Is it messy?
We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and tidy up before we leave.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes: twelve months. If there’s a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
I rent my home. Can I book you?
We’re happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Get your landlord’s agreement first.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Typically, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.
When can I use the bath after resealing?
You’ll get the curing time from us, generally around a day.
