Bath resealing in Great Yarmouth without replacing anything
Baths are resealed with water in them, so the joint is at its widest, which stops the new seal tearing the first time the bath is used. If you are dealing with damp near the bath and unsealed corners, we can generally put it right, on kitchen worktops & sinks, basins & vanity units and shower trays & enclosures alike.
Whatever the size of the job, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee in Great Yarmouth and across Norfolk.

Work for landlords and builders
Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Great Yarmouth use us as well as householders. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it generally costs far less than a refit.
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.
Great Yarmouth: your questions answered
Will you leave a mess?
No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.
How long before I can shower?
We will give you the curing time.
Do I have to be there?
We need someone to let us in. You do not need to watch us work.
What happens if you find more damage?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. You decide whether to go ahead.
Can pets and children be at home?
Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we are working in. We’ll tell you when the room can be used again.
What does bath resealing cost?
We give a fixed price from your photos. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo and your postcode.
Do you hold any accreditations?
We’re accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
In most cases. The old repair comes out first.
Is resealing worth it?
Sealing over old silicone is a false economy. It soon peels, and mould stays trapped behind it. A proper reseal removes the old first. Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Great Yarmouth. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Repairs by material
Sinks and worktops
We reseal basins, vanity tops and kitchen worktops, once the joint is completely dry.
Shower trays
We put weight on a tray before sealing it, so the joint is at its widest.
How we price bath resealing
A fixed quote means you know the cost before you book. We look at:
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- How much damage there is
- The type of damage
- Doing more than one item at once
A repair usually costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send photos and we’ll give you the exact figure.
Getting a price from photos
A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. Try to include:
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Any details about the material
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire bath or shower, we can price the job without visiting.
How it works
Once we’re through the door, we keep the work contained to the one room. We mask off everything nearby, the job takes a couple of hours, depending on what we find, and we finish with a tidy-up and a look at the finished work together.
- The old silicone is cut out completely.
- We remove the residue and clean the joint.
- We treat mould and dry the joint thoroughly.
- We fill the bath, or weight the tray, to open the joint.
- New mould-resistant silicone is applied and tooled neatly.
How to prepare
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
Ask for a price
We price from photos so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and you will get a fixed figure back.

When to call us in Great Yarmouth
Even good sealant eventually discolours, especially in a busy family bathroom. Steam, soap and movement all wear it down.

- Stained silicone
- Leaks at the edges
- Unsealed corners
- A messy previous reseal
Before booking anyone
- How long the guarantee is and what it covers

DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair won’t last.
