Bath Resealing in Hawridge
Bath, shower and sink resealing with new mould-resistant silicone for homes and businesses in Hawridge and across Buckinghamshire. Free, fixed quotes from your photos.
- Unsealed corners
- Stained silicone
- Mould you can’t clean out

The process
Nothing needs to be moved out of the room. We bring everything we need with us, put protection down and get going once we’ve agreed what we are doing. Most jobs take about two hours for a bath, and you can get on with other things while we’re there.
- The surrounding area is protected and the joints masked.
- Old sealant and residue are removed.
- The joint is cleaned, treated and dried.
- We run a continuous bead of new silicone.
- We smooth the bead, remove the tape and leave it to cure.
Preparing for the visit
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
How to get a price
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them over with your postcode, and you will get a fixed quote back. Quotes are free and no obligation.

Resealing is quick, but it transforms the look. Clean, white joints make a bathroom look cared for, and they keep water out. Typical jobs include gaps in the seal and old sealant that looks dirty, on wet rooms, shower trays & enclosures and baths.
A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re not left on your own once we have gone.

Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.
Is it safe with children and pets around?
Please keep children and pets out of the room during the visit. The rest of the house is unaffected.
What information do you need?
A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.
Can landlords book you?
Yes. We carry out repairs for householders, landlords, letting agents, builders and businesses across Buckinghamshire.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Usually, yes. The old repair comes out first.
Can you reseal over the old silicone?
All the old sealant comes out. New silicone won’t bond to old.
Is there a guarantee?

Will there be a smell?
There may be a mild smell during the work.
What bath resealing costs
There is no area surcharge for Hawridge. The price reflects:
- What the surface is made of
- Whether we combine several jobs
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- How hard the colour is to match
A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. You’ll see the full price before booking, with no extras added later.
How to get a fixed price
You can take the pictures on your phone. Just make sure we can see:
- One picture of the whole bath or shower
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- One sharp close-up of the damage
For most jobs, photos are all we need to give you a price. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.
Repairs by material
Sinks and worktops
Basins, vanity units and kitchen worktops are resealed too, with the joint fully dried first.
Shower trays
Trays are sealed with weight on them, so the joint is at its widest.
Keeping it looking good
Good habits make a big difference to how long a repair lasts:
- Dry the seal after bathing
- Store bottles on a shelf
- Open a window after bathing
- Give the seal a regular clean
Good ventilation is the best protection, and dry the joints after bathing so mould struggles to take hold.
Reseal before water gets in. Gaps or lifting edges mean it needs doing.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
Landlords, agents and businesses in Hawridge
Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Hawridge use us as well as homeowners. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it generally costs far less than a refit.
We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Send the address, pictures and access details and we’ll arrange it.
Honest limits
It helps to know what we cannot do too:
- Water damage behind the bath that needs a builder
- Movement in the bath or tray
- Gaps too big for silicone alone
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before you book.

Is resealing worth it?
Resealing is routine maintenance. Putting off a reseal can let water reach the walls and floor, and that damage costs much more to fix. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
