Bath Resealing for Marche homes
Fixed-price bath resealing in Marche and the surrounding area, done in a single visit in most cases and guaranteed for a year.
- Gaps by the taps
- Discoloured, yellow sealant
- Mould you can’t clean out

Why reseal now?
Compared with repairing water damage, resealing is cheap. It’s a quick job that protects your walls and floors. Compared with replacing, repairing generally costs far less, because there’s no removal, plumbing or making good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.

Bath resealing in Marche, done in place
A proper reseal starts with removing every trace of the old silicone. Fresh sealant does not stick to old, which is why many DIY jobs peel. We work on wet rooms, basins & vanity units and baths, and the jobs we see most are an untidy old seal and discoloured, yellow sealant.
Every repair is covered by our one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Shropshire.

What else we do in Marche
When a repair isn’t the answer
A repair isn’t always the answer, and we’ll tell you before we start. Repairs will not solve:
- A bath or tray that moves, until its support is fixed
- Gaps so wide they need filling or trims before sealing
- Rotten walls or floors behind the bath
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Materials we repair
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Wet rooms
- Baths
- Basins & vanity units
- Shower trays & enclosures
Signs you need bath resealing in Marche
Even good sealant eventually discolours. Steam, soap and movement all take their toll.
You may need us if you’ve spotted any of these:
- A messy previous reseal
- Black spots in the silicone
- Missing sealant behind the taps
- Discoloured, yellow sealant
What your quote should include
- What protection goes down before work starts
- What prep work is covered
- Who turns up on the day
- Aftercare advice
What we do, step by step
On the day itself, there is little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. Most visits take a couple of hours, including clearing up.
- All the old sealant is cut out and removed.
- We clean the joint and treat any mould.
- We dry the joint thoroughly.
- For a bath, we fill it with water first so the joint is at its widest.
- We apply new mould-resistant silicone and tool it to a neat finish, taps included.
How to prepare
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Clear the area around the damage
- Keep a parking space free if you can

Questions from Marche
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Generally, yes. Let us know what was used before and we will plan for it.
Is it safe with children and pets around?
We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work and until it has cured. The rest of the house is unaffected.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.
Will you leave a mess?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.
Is a repair better than a new one?
Usually, when the rest is in good condition. A repair avoids removal and making good. We will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
Why does my sealant keep going mouldy?
Damp is the cause. Run the fan, dry the joints and the new seal stays cleaner for longer.
Will the price change on the day?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. You decide whether to go ahead.
Is there any odour?
There may be a mild smell during the work that clears as it cures.
Work for landlords and builders
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access.
For anyone letting property in or around Marche, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Send photos for each one and we will come back with a combined price.
How to look after the repair
Simple care helps the repair last. Our advice:
- Replace the seal when mould sets in
- Air the room after use
- Wipe the joints dry after use
- Run the extractor fan during and after showers
Leave the sealant to cure for the time we give you, normally about a day.
Reseal before water gets in. Gaps or lifting edges mean it needs doing.
What affects the price in Marche
You’ll know the full cost before booking. We look at:
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- The type of damage
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- The size and number of damaged areas
Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Marche. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Quotes from your pictures
We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what to send:
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- Details of any past repairs
Upload photos of the damage and one of the entire item, and tell us you are in Marche, and we will reply with a fixed price.
