Bath Resealing in Stainby
Fixed-price bath resealing in Stainby and the surrounding area, normally in one visit and guaranteed for a year.
- An untidy old seal
- Mould you can’t clean out
- Discoloured, yellow sealant

How we handle bath resealing in Stainby
All of the old sealant is cut out, deal with any mould, and apply fresh mould-resistant silicone. We do this for baths, showers, sinks and worktops, including the awkward bits behind the taps. We regularly repair baths, kitchen worktops & sinks and basins & vanity units, and people most often call us about unsealed corners and black mould in the sealant.
Every job is backed for twelve months. We return to put right any problem with the work.

Common questions in Stainby
How soon can you come?
That depends on our diary for your area. Send pictures with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.
Will you leave a mess?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and we clean up when we have finished.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as householders across Lincolnshire.
Do you cover the entire of Lincolnshire?
Across the UK, and that includes Stainby. Our prices are the same everywhere.
My seal keeps tearing. Why?
Something is moving. If it keeps happening, the support may need fixing.
What happens if you find more damage?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. The price only changes if you agree.
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send photos of everything you’d like done.
Can you repair something that is been repaired before?
Yes, regularly. Removing the old work can add time, and that’s in the quote.
For landlords and businesses
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Common problems we fix in Stainby
Black mould is the most common reason people reseal. It grows into the sealant itself, so cleaning can’t get it all out.
Get in touch if you’ve noticed:
- Gaps by the taps
- Silicone coming away from the tiles
- Stained silicone
- Damp near the bath
What your quote should include
- Whether a trained technician does the job
- How long the guarantee is and what it covers
- How to care for the finish
- A fixed price, and whether VAT is included
When a repair is not the answer
Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:
- Water damage behind the bath that needs a builder
- Movement in the bath or tray
- Very wide gaps that need a trim
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Surfaces we repair
- Wet rooms
- Shower trays & enclosures
- Baths
- Basins & vanity units
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
Why reseal now?
Putting new silicone over old does not last. It peels within weeks, and traps mould underneath. A proper reseal removes the old first. Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and combining items on one visit brings it down.

Looking after it afterwards
Most damage we see is avoidable. A few tips:
- Ventilate the bathroom well
- Reseal at the first sign of lifting
- Let steam out after showers
- Wipe the joints dry after use
Run the extractor fan, dry the joints after bathing, and give them a regular clean with a mild cleaner to slow mould growth.
Mouldy sealant is more than a cosmetic problem. Resealing early keeps water out of the walls and floor.
Can I fix it myself?
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
