Trusted bath resealing in Titley

Bath resealing in Titley without replacing anything

A reseal is a small job that makes a big difference. Clean, white joints make a bathroom look cared for, and they protect the walls and floor. We regularly repair basins & vanity units, baths and shower trays & enclosures, and people most frequently call us about leaks at the edges and sealant that’s split or lifting.

Peace of mind is built in: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we will explain exactly what it covers when we quote.

How the visit works

When we visit, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. Expect it to take about two hours for a bath. We tidy up before we leave and tell you when it’s ready to use.

  1. The old silicone is cut out completely.
  2. Residue is removed and the joint cleaned.
  3. Any mould is treated and the joint dried.
  4. We fill the bath, or weight the tray, to open the joint.
  5. New mould-resistant silicone is applied and tooled neatly.

How to prepare

  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit

Advice

DIY repairs versus a professional job

If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

For landlords and businesses

Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We can work around your bookings.

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

How we price bath resealing

Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:

  • The material
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • How many items we do on one visit
  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out

Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Titley. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Send pictures for a quote

The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what we find most useful:

  • Your postcode, so we can check dates
  • Any details about the material
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • Natural light rather than flash

No survey visit is needed: we price from photos. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and you will get a fixed figure back.

When we would advise against a repair

Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair won’t do:

  • A bath or tray that moves, until its support is fixed
  • Gaps too big for silicone alone
  • Tiles that move, until they’re refixed

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

What we work on

  • Basins & vanity units
  • Shower trays & enclosures
  • Wet rooms
  • Baths
  • Kitchen worktops & sinks

Is resealing worth it?

Resealing costs very little and protects the walls and floor. Failed sealant can lead to water damage that is much more expensive. Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access.

What you get with us

  • Nothing taken out or refitted
  • Most jobs done in one visit
  • Dust sheets down, tidy finish
  • A year’s guarantee on all work
