Bath liners vs resurfacing

Two ways to renew an old bath without ripping it out, compared.

What a bath liner is

A bath liner is a moulded acrylic shell made to fit inside your existing bath and bonded in place. It covers the old surface rather than restoring it.

What resurfacing is

Resurfacing, or re-enamelling, repairs the existing surface and sprays a new finish onto it. The bath keeps its original shape and depth.

Which to choose

For cast iron, roll-top and unusual baths, resurfacing is usually the only practical option. For a standard bath, compare quotes, and ask how long each option is guaranteed for.
