- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer before booking.
Materials we repair
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
Coloured bath resurfacing in Birmingham without replacing anything
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is normally done in one to two days. We are frequently asked to fix faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, across coloured basins, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays.
A one-year guarantee comes as standard. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

The process
Arrival times are agreed in advance, so you know when to expect us. Once we are there, the work takes one to two days for a full suite. The room is left tidy and ready to use once it has cured.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the following day.
How to prepare
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
Getting a price
A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the whole suite, add your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed price, not an estimate.

Birmingham questions
What happens once I’ve sent pictures?
We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote.
Does someone need to be in?
We need someone to let us in. After that, you can carry on with your day.
Is there a call-out fee?
Travel is included in the price, and we charge the same wherever you are.
Is the work guaranteed?
All our work carries a one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.
Can pets and children be at home?
Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we are working in. We will tell you when the room can be used again.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
In nearly every case. We only ask to see it in person if the pictures can’t show what we need.
Can a coloured bath be made white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
Do you do work for letting agents?
We do, regularly. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.

What else we do in Birmingham
Should you replace it?
Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you will get a fixed figure.
What you get with us
- We’ll tell you if it’s not worth repairing
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
- Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- Nothing taken out or refitted
See our pricing and resurfacing vs replacement cost guide.
Can I fix it myself?
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is generally the cheaper route.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.
What we’re called out for in Birmingham
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.
If you can see any of these, send us a photo:
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- Faded or patchy colour
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
What your quote should include
- When it can be used again
- What the guarantee covers, and for how long
- How to look after the finish
- Whether the colour is mixed to match

What affects the price in Birmingham
Resurfacing from £350. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- What the surface is made of
- The colour and finish to match
A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. The full price is agreed before you book, with nothing added on the day.
How to get a fixed quote
You can usually get a fixed quote without us visiting. To help us price it:
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Details of any past repairs
- The material, if you know it
- Something in shot to show the size
You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.
