Need coloured bath resurfacing in Bishpool?

When a repair isn’t the answer

A repair is not always the answer, and we’ll tell you before we start. We cannot fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Materials we work on in Bishpool

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites

Coloured bath resurfacing in Bishpool, done in place

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is generally done in one to two days. Whether it’s a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour, we can generally put it right.

You’re covered for a year from the day of the repair. If anything isn’t right, ring us and we will sort it. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Repair or replace in Bishpool?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Instead of hourly rates, we price the whole job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.

Why us?

  • Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
  • Rooms protected and left tidy
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • We will tell you if it’s not worth repairing

See our pricing or guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.

The process

Nothing needs to be moved out of the room beforehand. We bring everything we need with us, put protection down and start once you are happy with the plan. It generally takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you can get on with other things while we’re there.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the day after.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Let us know if it has been repaired before
  • Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
  • Keep a parking space free if you can

Advice

DIY kit or professional repair?

For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.

What affects the price in Bishpool

Resurfacing from £350. Prices are worked out job by job, from your photos. The main factors are:

  • The type of damage
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • The size and number of damaged areas

The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed price from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

Send pictures for a quote

Most quotes are done from photos alone. To help us price it:

  • Any details about the material
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Details of any past repairs
  • Where you are, by postcode

Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can price the job.

Work for landlords and builders

Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.

Letting agents frequently send us photos straight from the inventory. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.

Common questions in Bishpool

Can you repair something that’s been repaired before?

Yes, regularly. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.

Is my repair covered?

Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.

Do you come to Bishpool?

Yes. We cover the whole UK and come to Bishpool. Send pictures and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

How quickly can you book me in?

We’ll give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we’ll do what we can.

Can you do the toilet too?

Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we will tell you what will last.

Can you price it without visiting?

Nearly always. We only ask to see it in person if the photos cannot show what we need.

Is there any odour?

There may be a mild smell during the work, which fades afterwards.
