Coloured bath resurfacing in Bochrwyd without replacing anything
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays, and the jobs we see most are selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you’re covered after the visit. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Bochrwyd: your questions answered
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Most of the time. Let us know what was used before and we will plan for it.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We will be honest if it’s not worth it.
What do you need from me?
Just pictures, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, access to the room.
What areas do you cover?
All of Powys, and the rest of the UK. Travel is included in the price.
What happens next?
We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote with dates.
Can a coloured bath be made white?
Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.
Is it messy?
No. The work area is masked and covered, and we take our waste away with us.
Do you hold any accreditations?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
Signs you need coloured bath resurfacing in Bochrwyd
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.
Contact us if you’ve noticed:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
What your quote should include
- What preparation is included
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
- Whether a trained technician does the job
- What happens if the damage is worse than the photos show
Should you replace it?
Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

How it works
We work cleanly and quietly, so you can stay at home while we are there. We protect the area first, then the job itself takes one to two days for a full suite. Before we leave, we explain the curing time and the aftercare.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- We leave everything to cure, typically until the following day.
Before we arrive
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Let us know about parking or access
- Clear the area around the damage
Ask for a price
There is no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.

DIY kit or professional repair?
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is generally cheaper.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we look at:
- Whether we combine several jobs
- How easy the damage is to reach
- The colour and finish to match
- What kind of damage it is
The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed price from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.
Send pictures for a quote
Two or three clear photos are normally enough. Try to include:
- Details of any past repairs
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A picture taken from further back
- Any details about the material
If you’re in Bochrwyd and want a price, the easiest route is photos: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.
What we cannot put right
A repair is not always the answer, and we would rather say so up front. We cannot fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly.
